This stock rocks. Very comfortable and very functional. The weight isn't bad. I used it on a 183 series so it should work on any model other than 180. The recoil system (butt plate, grip, cheek rest) is very comfortable. The top rail also creates a better site picture when using the iron sights. Rails are very secure. Also comes with four strap pins, which may be mounted in various locations. I prefer this to the Spartan (which is much more expensive), but that is just my personal taste. Seems virtually identical to the stock which comes on the new "tactical" model from Ruger, though I think this one is padded better (can't say for sure). Install was easy. Absolutely love it.
