Precision fire control group manufactured in the USA by Timney is one of the finest replacement trigger groups available. Does not require gunsmithing; simply remove the old assembly and drop-in the new assembly, works with small pin, .154", receivers only. Smooth, crisp, single-stage 3 pound trigger pull housed in a lightweight 6061, T6 alloy is anodized for durability. This replacement trigger gives your AR-15 a bolt-action feel.

Will not work on Colt AR-15 that have pins .168-.174" in diameter.

Awesome trigger :-) I used this trigger in my S&W 15/22 . The only down side to this is the trigger doesn't come with a metal plate for the 15/22 which you need. The trigger has two screws that you need to tighten down to keep the pins from falling out. The 15/22 is plastic and with out the metal plate it bows the plastic on the lower receiver. You need to contact Timney to get this plate. I bought 2 triggers and also works great in my ARs. This trigger will not work in Colt ARs because they use the large pins.

I love my AR-15 but the trigger was horrible! A friend of mine asked me to try his as he had just dropped in a Timney trigger. One pull of the trigger and I was convinced! I went right out and ordered one from CTD. Follow the instructions, take your time, and you'll have no problems what so ever. I installed mine in 20 minutes. Be sure to take notice of the "trick" using lip balm to hold the screws to the hex key. This is a great product and I kick myself for not buying one years ago. The difference between the Timney trigger and the original is night and day. Buy one! You'll thank me.
