In my Winchester model 70 this bullet outperforms any other as far as one shot kills and immediate drops. I have shot many whitetails with this ammo, from 150# to 250# and I have had only good luck. I have tried many others in this same gun but with very poor results. Because I'm doing all the shooting shot placement and other variables are controlled as well as can be expected. I do feel other bullets have their place but not in WSM calibers with Average Joe hunters.

I have heard arguments for different ammo and have funneled through different bullet and manufactures. The buck stops here, literally. I am sold on this round. I use it for my 300 win mag and will start using it exclusively. The target goes down. There was excellent retention, extreme energy and no wasted meat. Vital shots are vital, however. (No punn intended.)

THIS IS A BIG NASTY BULLET!!!I don`t think I could ever be more pleased with a bullet than this.I`m shooting a Browning A-bolt with a BOSS,I shot a three shot group at 200 yds and it was a little under a half inch.I shot 15 deer last year from 200 yds to 367 yds being the longest shot.I was amazed,the deer didn't even have a chance ....they ALL were laying where they WERE standing.Great penatration and very accurate.This bullet holds most all of its weight.If you don`t like to trail wounded deer and you like to put a serious SMACK DOWN on them then you will love this bullet.
