In 7mm-08 Rem, this quality Core-Lokt pointed soft point hunting ammunition from Remington gives you the confidence to take the shot.

The Core-Lokt bullet design is the original controlled expansion bullet, and one of the most effective ever developed. Its progressively tapered copper jacket is locked to a solid lead core, promoting perfectly controlled expansion and high weight retention for absolutely dependable on game results. You'll find its time proven performance in both soft point and pointed soft point versions, and in a range of bullet weights for virtually every centerfire hunting caliber made.

Core-Lokt Soft Point shape provides broad frontal area for high energy impact and rapid expansion. Bullet cores are "Lokt" in place to provide deep penetration. Jackets designed for progressive, reliable expansion to almost twice the original diameter.

I shoot a Rossi 7mm-08 single shot and am very pleased with the Rem ammo. Has great knock down power. Recently shot 431 lb hog at 193yrds, very pleased. Great on coyotes.

400-450 yard shots for white tail are absolutely no issue at all. dropped in tracks. love it. shoots .5 inch groups at 100 yards out of my x-bolt. furthest shot taken was 530 yards at a silhouette target, 2 inches from center. will experiment with further shots no doubt.

I really like this round,found the 140gr too shoot the best have used 120gr but felt the group was not there.I am older in age so recoil is a factor can shoot at the range and hunt no problems knock down power is excellent shot deer out to 150 yrds and dropped them in their tracks.

Excellent round for whitetails and hogs, no problem at all putting down game out to 220 yards ( furthest shot so far ) harvested 4 whitetails and 2 hogs in the last couple of seasons.

I really like the 7mm-08 as a hunting round and this round does a great job on whitetail deer and hogs with much less meat damage than the ballistic tips and lower cost.
