I ordered this 100 pk, and off the bat was impressed. I had it on my doorstep in three business days. Fast shipping is a plus. This is an initial review. I just opened one and cracked it. Little disappointed it didn't come with a string to attach to the stick (can be used to twirl stick in emergency signaling situations), but overall VERY pleased. Though you must understand THIS IS NOT A FLASHLIGHT! It is very bright and in pitch black, it lights up a fair sized area. For only being 6" and chemically operated, it's a great BACK-UP! I would always choose a flashlight over this, but in the event one isn't on hand, this would work great. I am putting multiple in my BOB and cars, and am giving some to close family. Overall, this is (so far) an excellent product and if I had the cash, I'd buy another case. When the SHTF (or a power outage) and you want to save batteries, or are out of batteries, this is something you'll be glad you got!!

I recently used these sticks during a power outtage in NY and they were great! They gave off a good deal of light and lasted a lot longer than the 12 hours advertised. In the morning I put them in the still pretty cold freezer until the next night, at what time they were still glowing at half the original intensity. They are definitely worth the money.
