Nice solid stock, well made right here in the USA but... That dang hand guard pin on the SKS is just about next to impossible without damage to the end cap stamping. Uggg! I wish Tapco would make a replacement piece for ease of assembly. Mine did bend up a bit but with a lot of tinker time I was able to re-bend it back to usable shape. I had to slightly drill the small end of the pin and it finally started out. Giving it a test on the range tomorrow.

This is a great stock It made my chinese sks look modernized but i had to sand some to get the gas tube on

love this stock so much i put 2 on my sk's. fairly easy to install as long as you have a good file to round off some edges. the hand guard was the most difficult to install, you really need a good workbench and vice to attempt. i doubt you could find a better looking stock for the price and you cant beat made in the USA baby!

It definately makes the SKS look cool. I did find that the molded plastic still had tabs on it from manufacturing...they did not smooth out the edges. Also, the gas tube has to be installed into the new stock by removing the pin from the original. Easier said than done.
