Ordered this past Saturday and it arrived today (Tuesday). My Norinco fit nicely without any need of sanding, but the original 10 rd mag or the aftermarket 30 rd mag will not stay seated. Going to take to range this weekend and see if this affects useability.

This required over 2 hours of work by two of us to install on the rifle. The hand guard wouldn't fit into the sleeve without dremel and sanding. The grip screw hole wasn't pre-threaded. The shortest point of collapse on the stock is only 1 inch less than the original wood stock. The balance is horrible and the plastic is cheap and easily warped and damaged. About as bad as the ATI Mosin Stock. I would not purchase this product again, or even keep one if given to me for free. On the plus side, trigger squeeze is improved over the straight grip and mounting options are added while iron sight usability is preserved.

Im so glad I bought this item! Makes my SKS look like a modern weapon, not an old school gun. Install was smooth, until I had to remove the pin from the gas chamber. I had to drill it out, but I didn't damage it. Worth every penny! Only fired 10 rounds through so far using the Tapco 20rd mag. Rifle was more stable, less recoil, comfortable and it shot perfect!

fast shipping great deal. like others a little trouble with the gas tube pin coming out but everything else was a great fit and fast to install on my chinese norinco, just shot 20 rounds very comfy and looks mean too super buy, thanx CTD

Ordered at noon on Tuesday and received it at 10AM the next day. Everything fit without any need to do anything to the stock, except for my bayonet slot. The blade did not completely seat into the shallow slot, thus making it where the tip was sticking out away from the stock. I Took a file and deepened the slot and there were no more issues with my Yugo model SKS. The detachable mags from Tapco work perfectly with this stock, the metal ones do not as they jam when trying to seat them into the stock, and jam trying to remove them.

Ordered on Sunday, showed up on the doorstep Wednesday, shipping was fast. I had to file the handguard(like everyone else)a little but no big deal, it just makes for a perfect fit. Bayonet cut is perfect. Took my Norinco to the range the next day and had a lot of fun with it, the six position stock and grip improved my rifle beyond belief.

This is a great product. I think that the only thing that would make it nicer is if the factory would get rid of the case lines from the manufacturing process. The only problem I had installing was with the upper hand guard. It took nearly an hour to get that stupid little pin out. If done over, I would have just drilled it out. Overall it fits like a glove and it makes the sks look cool.

Bought this stock to upgrade my Chinese Norinco SKS. The stock fit the gun perfectly, had to file a little on the handguard, but it was very little. Bayonet cut fit Bayonet perfectly, I highly recommend this stock for a Chinese Norinco!

Bought this stock to upgrade my Chinese Norinco SKS. Most everything went together without a hitch. Biggist problem I ran into was breaking down the gas tube assembly. I recommend this product..everything fit very snug and works great with tapco 20 round mag. Rails held scope very well. Just keep in mind that you will have to make some adjustments via fileing and muscle to get certain parts to fit. Overall, very happy with purchase. (if you break your gas tube, tapco sells one with rail mount preinstalled for $50..be that more than half of this set..be careful.)

Tapco rules the after-market for SKS stocks and accessories. Buy this thing and use the excellent Tapco 20 rnd magazines for sure fire feed without jams.
