I bought this to try on several carbines I own. I like it best on my Kel-Tec SUB2000 9mm as a forward laser mount. I mount it below the barrel just ahead of the hand guard to allow the carbine to fold up without interference. It's less obtrusive than the prescribed Kel-Tec add-on. I also like it on my Professional Ordnance Carbon-15 for the laser mount when I'm using the upper rail for my Trijicon dot scope. Guess I need to get another one!

This little rail mount works great for lights, lasers, or anything else you can fit. I even put one on my M1 30 carbine for a light. You even get extra long screws for heavier barrels. great buy.
