The Brave Heart is a small, compact, multi-purpose knife that will serve admirably as a hunting or utility knife or as an alternative to a double edge boot knife. The thin, needle sharp tip is ideally suited for piercing, and the precision taper ground blade has been honed by hand to razor sharpness. The traditional jimping on the blade spine is both ornamental and functional, providing an aggressive non slip platform for the thumb or forefinger to bear downward as needed for maximum control.

The compact Kraton handle is designed to accommodate a wide variety of comfortable and secure grip positions, and its slim, flat cross section insures that it will resist turning or twisting in the hand. Kraton is a superior handle material that Cold Steel has employed for decades because its robust traction and resiliency allows it to withstand the shock of even the hardest blows.

I am literally ordering my 4th right now. This is a well balanced and extremely durable daily duty fixed blade. The reason it's my 4th is because I used the first two practicing learning to throw and let's say my first many attempts hit brick walls etc. and the knives are still functional! Hence the reason to have two new in stellar condition

i had wanted this knife ever since i had seen it in the Cold Steel catalog. i was just browsing on CTD and i came accros it for cheaper!!!! so i said i had to have it!!!! so i bought it and it was amazing. it was also very sharp. i have no regrets buying this knife and if you buy it, you wont either.

As the previous poster mentioned, this little knife is SHARP right out of the box, impressively sharp. This knife has lived in my boot for the past three years on patrol, thankfully I've not had to resort to using it. The obligatory ball-chain necklace it comes with is a subdued black, that was promptly ditched. The sheath works, retention is good, but the sheathclip is very weak, in fact, mine broke after just a few months. Then again, I've had it clipped over the top of a pair of Danners, so your mileage may vary. Good knife for the price.

I got this knife about 1 month ago and I love it, It has a full tang and It is very lite and thin 1/4 inch thick and !!!VERY SHARP!!! it will shave you with barely any presser at all and at only 1/4 inch it is very strong and the sheath it comes with is great and sturdy holds the knife perfectly and has a very sturdy pocket clip and holes to strap it to a boot or a lanyard , And the description Sade it is partially serrated but its not, The "groove's" on the top of the knife are just to keep you're thumb from from slipping off the "spine" of the knife, and the handle is nonslip rubber. I highly recommend this knife for self defence a boot knife or for a collector. I hope this review will help you in you're knife choice.
