The Streamlight TLR-2 tactical gun mount light uses the same technology that US special operations use. The TLR-2 gun mounted tactical light will not interfere with the balance of your gun. It is intensely bright, virtually indestructible, and is designed to attach/detach in less than two seconds. The one handed snap on and tighten interface keeps your hands away from the gun's muzzle when attaching/detaching the Streamlight TLR-2 weapon mounted light. The Streamlight TLR-2 is MIL-SPEC 810F performance tested, and is built to meet MIL-SPECs. The TLR-2 tactical light attaches to Glock rails and any MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail. The TLR tactical light gives you ever advantage in any low light situation. The Streamlight TLR-2 is perfect for law enforcement, security, military, police, and home defense. I received this item today and couldn't wait to get it on my Glock 22. I previously had an "Insight" model flashlight only on the weapon, but decided it was time to upgrade to a light/laser combo. I researched the different ones that are available and from what I read I found the Streamlight TLR-2 to be just what I was looking for. Once I got it mounted I tried it out. All I can say is WOW! The light is extremely bright, much more so than the Insight brand. I really like the ability to go from pulse with both the light and laser to constant on with both. This is definitely what I was looking for. Well made, name brand, works great, and the best price was from our friends at Cheaper Than Dirt! (This was even cheaper than eBay)!!! I have been a customer of Cheaper Than Dirt for over 10 years, and this is why - plain and simple - quality products each and every time.

Bought this for my Glock 17. It is easy to install and remove and very light weight. The light is extremely bright and the controls are very easy to use. The laser required no adjustment out of box for me. I could easily hit point of aim at most targets between 5 and 25 yards. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality light/laser combo.

I bought this for my H&K P30L. Fits great, a little heavy for its size, but makes up for it in its quality. Heavy duty body, an intense laser and bright light. Easy to mount and dismount with out an adjustment.

This is the best laser light combo and a laser that really works! The light is the brightest Ive seen and lights up the night and blinds the zombies and tangos as well. A little high on the green backs but well worth the money AAA product....

This unit is a great partner for my Glock 21, which is a standard frame 45 auto, that is my home defense gun. The lights are very bright for any serious purpose, the unit is lightweight, and installation is simple. I'm an experienced very good shooter period. Given that a dangerous lunatic/predator enter backyards at night in my area, to buy this TLR-2 seemed to be a good idea and "perfect companion". The laser is effective during the day and night. The light mode and operation switches are easy to handle in the dark. I think this is important because conditions may change during one tactical encounter requiring either different lights or no light. There is no strobe light but who needs one? Should you need to identify a possible target through glass in the dark, there will be a sharp fat beam going out and ambient light bouncing back. Any high intensity strobing may disorient you also. I did not mind not having a strobe because the flashlight to me is for clear quick ID, preferable is strobing light from a barrel given the required threat! The cost is more than I preferred, but the better equipment is costly within reason. Besides, why possibly take risks with cheap equipment. I typically don't trust expensive products with short warranties. The lifetime warranty Streamlight gives is a huge plus. You can not go wrong with this one!!! Trust me !!!

I ADMIT THAT I HAVEN'T TRIED EVERY LASER LIGHT THAT CTD HAS FOR SALE BUT THIS IS THE BEST THAT I HAVE PURCHASED SO FAR. THE STREAMLIGHT TLR-2 GIVES YOU SEVERAL LASER LIGHT OPTIONS TO USE FROM THIS ONE DEVICE AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THE CONTROL SWITCH IS MADE SO THAT YOU CAN USE IT EFFECTIVELY IN THE DARK. UNLIKE SOME LASER LIGHT COMBOS, IT DOES'T RELY ON SMALL BUTTONS ON THE SIDE OF THE LIGHT THAT YOU NEED MOUSE LIKE FINGERS TO ACTIVATE. I HAVE BOUGHT TWO SO FAR. I HAVE MOUNTED ONE ON MY 45 PX4 PISTOL AND ALSO ONE ON MY 9MM CX4 CARBINE. FIVE STARS.

This thing is everything you need in a tac light. I put it on my SF G21 and I have put more than 500 rounds through it and not a gnats ass off zero yet. Plus the light is super bright and the switch is totally silent. I love this thing, I just need another one on my Mossy to replace the POS streamlight one I have... ok not POS but not nearly as good as this one.

I bought this for my Springfield XD 45ACP. It works awsome on this gun! It balances the the gun great and the light is crazy bright. The laser is easy to sight and is great in low light conditions. I have a Blackhawk drop leg holster and it fits perfect in there with the gun. I highly recomend this product to anyone who needs a great tac light!!

the light on the tlr-2 is awsome and gives plenty of light at a fair distance the product is a must buy for that ar-15 or even your handgun. the laser is visiable for long distance and is very easy to sight in the product is like i said before a must buy !!!!!

I have this on a Glock model 21 and could'nt be happier. The light is very strong and projects a tight beam far. The laser stays true even after a full day at the range using plus P acp's. This one costs more but in my opinion is worth it. Just be warned it does not fit in standard "with light" holsters because the laser adds about 1/2 inch or so.

I am so pleased with this item. It rests perfectly on my CZ-75 compact it's like it was purpose built for it. The toggle from laser only or light only or both is great as well as quick bursts with one finger or remains on with a flick of the switch in the opposite direction. It is very user friendly and intuitive. Once more, the removal can be done quickly and by hand. Never needs readjustment on same firearm has been my experience. It takes the abuse not only from my service pistol but I've also put it on my AR-15 platform which has not only the .223 rounds going through it, but I also have the 6.8 spc upper which it also handles fine with. I've put it on my Carbon 15 .223 pistol and it works just fine. I don't bother taking it off when not in use on the AR platform and with over 3000 rounds, it's never given me a single problem. As with most red dot lasers, it's useless in good lighting conditions, but that's not it's purpose. Battery life if great and the light pattern is very impressive. I have several different "inexpensive" read cheap- tactical lights and you definetely get what you pay for. I have abandoned those cheap lights in favor of this one and intend to buy another so I don't have to adjust for different weapons platforms. If your on the recieving end of the tac light, you definetely see stars.

I received this tac/laser light as a gift. This item was refered to me by a friend. Let me tell you that I did alot of research on this item from warenty to features. The light is blinding and give you visibity out-to 50yds. The laser is crisp, clean, and easy to adjust to your shooting style it also does not spread the beam like on cheaper light easily visible at long range. This item was bought from Cheaper than Dirt and they where the cheapest that i could find with a good reputation.

The TLR-2 is an outstanding product. I am the OperationsCommander for the regional SWAT team. This product does all of the things the more expensive tac light/lasers do but at a much reduced price. The light is super bright and the laser is bright and easy to tune. This is an excellent entry tool for your handgun.
