Dragonfly Stainless Steel Leaf Shaped Blade Folding Knife -
It is small, completely stainless, just waiting to be engraved or personalized. The stainless Dragonfly makes a highly thoughtful gift for the person who thinks they have everything. The flat and smooth handle surface is ideal for engraving groomsmen's names or telling Dad 'thank you' on Father's Day.

Made of premium VG-10 stainless, the leaf shaped blade is flat ground with a thin-honed performance cutting edge. Poised above the Spyderco Round Hole is a point to set the thumb on, which provides purchase and control while cutting. The three screw metal pocket clip situates the folder for tip up carry.

ATS-55 -
Similar to ATS-34, but with the moly removed and some other elements added. This steel is a good cutlery steel but a tier behind ATS-34 and its closest competitors (other steels in ATS-55's class might be Gin-1 and AUS-8). With the molybdenum removed, ATS-55 does not seem to hold an edge quite like ATS-34, and reports are that it's less rust resistant. My guess is that with the moly gone, more chromium is tied up in carbides, which means less free chromium for rust resistance, and softer chromium carbides replacing moly carbides for less wear resistance.

VG-10 Stainless Steel -
VG-10 has Carbon (C) content between 0.95-1.05, Chromium (Cr) content between 13.0-15.0, Molybdenum (Mo) content between 0.2-0.4, and contains less than 0.25 of Nickel (Ni). During forging, Mo and Cr forms hard double carbide bonds which help improve the abrasion and corrosion resistance of the steel. It has a hardness of 58-61.

Flat ground -
A flat grind leaves a flat surface, that flat surface if ground from edge to spine is considered a full flat grind. If that flat surface goes from the edge to somewhere in the middle of the blade it would be considered a flat saber grind.

Tip Up and Tip Down -
Refers to which direction the folded knife if positioned by its pocket clip. When closed and clipped in a pocket, whichever direction (up or down) the blade's tip sits defines if it is termed tip up or tip down.

Round Hole™ -
Round hole located in the knife blade used for one hand opening and closing of a knife blade.
