ive had this scope mounted on a .22 bolt action since 1997. it has not failed me yet. i zeroed it with 9 rounds of remington golden bullet bulk ammo from walmart. it held its zero when i dinged it on top of the objective lens housing. theres a dent there now but still holds its zero. the lens are crisp for 60 yards and the crosshairs are thin enough for target practice but not too thin to hit smallgame in the brush. i lost my adjustment caps sometime in 2000, but the dials are still clicking and being felt during minor adjustments between different types of ammunition. the field of view is easy to find when doing quick shots too. i would buy another pronghorn when i buy another .22 for the gunrack.
