So I mounted this on an extra .30 carbine I had hanging around and it works perfect. I used a drop of gorilla glue on the flip caps so they don't come off, but mounted on a foward rail this site rocks. Holds zero after 150 rnds so far, is lite and easy to operate. Good brightness at all levels and easy to adjust. The draw back is the battery. I wish the manufactures would all use single CR123 type batteries and stop with the button type. ( hard to store extra button batteries in the grip of AR's !!!
