After reading the reviews of the Pearce Plus two grip extensions on your web page, I ordered four grips. When I received them, I took apart my four mags and lubricated the clip retaining plate. I reassembled them and checked function and the added length let me put all four fingers of my hand on the weapon. Functioned fine with fourteen in the mag. Only took about ten minutes. Great product!

Ok this review is a little tricky. I like the product but I only gave it 3 bullets, and here’s why. First, I can only get it to hold one extra round. Second, mine was a little hard to install. There is a little slot inside that was really hard to line up under the tension of the spring. It took about 15 tries to get it to line up and lock properly. Once I got it on, it worked great. It matches the gun and looks nice. I have a full size 5 inch XD. Even my big hands do not need extra gripping surface on the full size grip. Basically, you add bulk to an already large gun for 1 extra round. For the money it cost me, it gets a 3. I would just buy an extra mag and get 10 more rounds.

I've spent over $2100 on CTD and this is one of the most useful things I've ever bought. And it's cheap. It adds a good deal of stability and reduces the time for follow-up shots. It also adds 2 more rounds to the magazine and feeds just as well on the last round as the first. Now, the description says it adds 2 rounds, and it does, but that 15th round is an absolute nightmare to pack in. I do NOT recommend carrying 15 rounds on a regular basis as you will destroy your spring pretty quickly. What it does do, however, is allow you to carry 13+1 without putting any undue tension on the spring. And 14 rounds of .45 ACP should be more than enough to tick off at least 3 or 4 Grizzly bears. I foolishly only ordered one, and would love to order another 2 for my carry mags, but will just have to wait until I need more ammo and such, to save on shipping.
