It's a factory part, so fit and function were excellent. The magazine was identical to the one that came with my 709. Fits and drops free as it should.

The mag is exactly what I was looking for - just another one of the Taurus factory mags. No complaints, just wish Taurus would release the 709 and 740 mag extensions some time soon.

Bought the 709 Slim mag and Pearce extension and they both work superbly. This mag works better than the original one that came w/the gun. That one had FTF issues when it got down to 3-4 rounds, not so w/this new one, and you can't beat the price on both items. Just clean the mag well before usage.

I bought these for my 709 Slim and they load and eject perfectly. I thought at first, the load was a little stiff, but after use, it was smooth and fast. I'll buy again.

Looked at extra mags from another online retailer and their mags had crappy reviews, claiming they would not fit in the magwell. I purchased this and the Pearce grip extension. This is a factory Taurus mag. Works flawlessly and has been through about 400 rounds. Feeds great and I can't tell which is which. Am buying a few more for practice.

These are real Taurus mags and slide in smooth with no feed issues. I also added the Pearce mag extender.
