Was pleased with the way it fit, but when I field tested the magazine, the rounds did not feed properly. Something about the design of the piece that the rounds lie on did not hold them at the proper angle to allow the receiver and ramp to feed them into the chamber. I wasted about ten rounds because the bullet would jam against the mag well. To fix this issue, I swapped the red piece on the OEM magazine that came with my SIG522. The ProMag's piece works well with the lower capacity magazine and the Sig's red piece worked well with the larger capacity. For the price, it is well worth it, but ProMag needs to address the issue because of their "quality products" claim.

I bought two of the ProMags for my Sig. The first few times shooting, I didn't have any problems, but now I can't get the shells to feed properly. The only mag that will work is my Sig mag.

Recently bought the Sig 522 Swat Commando (quad rails and mock silencer), and just couldn't get over the toyish, see-thru, smoked magazine it came with (25 rounder). What might be worse is that the stock Black Dog mag is so undersized it shakes and flaps around ridiculously in the receiver. It literally makes clanking noises like change in your pocket when handling the gun. SO, I ordered 2 of these ProMags and they are much better. They fit mostly snug with a tiny bit of play when in the receiver and drop out of the receiver unassisted when empty. They feel solid and look much better in the gun than the smoked. One thing I failed to consider when purchasing is these mags are about 2.5" longer than the stock 25 rounder, so it gives the gun a different look. I think this mag in a 25 round (for length) would be perfect.

I bought 4 of these for my Sig 522. These mags are a much needed upgrade over the factory mags. They are easy to load and unload. I have shot over 300 rounds through my Sig with zero malfunctions no matter how fast I fired. Shipping was lightning fast on my order, and I am a customer for life.

Purchased for my Sig 522. Great magazines for the money. They feel good and solid. As others have said in their reviews, it will hold 33 rounds, instead of 30. I loaded four mags up when I received them and they all fed flawlessly. Great product.

This is a fantastic magazine for its price, I purchased one, and swapped out the follower from my original Sig 522 magazine so that it'd allow for the bolt to lock open, and it still ran flawlessly. I'm now ordering two more, along with some more factory followers from Black Dog Machine so that these to will hold the bolt. This is the best magazine for the 522, bar none.

After reading the only other review and not finding any bad reviews for ProMags I purchased 4 of these for my Sig 522 rifle. They actually hold 33 rounds rather than 30. They are about 2” longer than the Sig 25 round mags. They don’t hold the bolt open after the last round like the Sig mags do. However, the Sig mags let the bolt droops when they are removed so I don’t find the fact that the ProMag don’t hold it open to be problem. The gun/trigger goes click after the last round with both brand mags and the bolt has to be cycled to charge new round when a new mag is inserted. First trip to the range I fully loaded the mags four times each. Flawless feeding! Well worth the price.

I purchased a pair of these magazines for my Sig 522 SWAT pistol, the one from Sig was cheap, and it had a big crack in it, these are way better!
