Just a few light strokes of my file and it clicked right in. A little sloppy side to side, but on field test, it passed with flying colors. You have to push the lever down with each round loaded, but I got the hang of that on the second reload. Feeds great, gotta get a few more!!!

The issue that other owners are talking about is a fitment issue, resulting from the loose production tolerances of the Saiga 12. Mine almost fit right out of the box; just needed a tiny bit of trimming from the upper portion. It was nothing that a Dremel with sanding attachment couldn't take care of. All said, it took me only 5 mins. to make it fit, and fit well! I am not giving it 5 bullets because I haven't had time to fire it yet. Otherwise, I am very impressed with this magazine.

Had to be filed in a few spots right out of the box. Fits into my gun nicely. I don't know why they say this is black polymer since I received mine with the "smoke" or tinted back cover (which I love), so that worked out perfectly! I loaded this with Remington #4 Buck and let loose with rapid fire with ZERO PROBLEMS. Impressive for a first time go. I'll see how this handles other loads and holds up over time. I don't care too much for the assist lever. Don't like how it sticks out and is a bit of an eyesore.

Looks good. Doesn't fit Saiga 12 out of the box on my. I will have to modify this unit. Hear this is the problem a lot. Company should make modifications before continued production. Have not loaded it or got it to stay in shotgun. Again Will have to file it down to make it work.

In the usual CTD fashion, my order was at my place in just a few days. I ordered this drum to feed my converted Saiga 12 shotgun. I wish I bought another one. It fit my mag well perfectly, straight out of the box. Loading is easy, if you have two thumbs. You have to push in, then down on a lever, to load the shells one at a time. I used 7.5 skeet load and didn't have a single snag. 20 rounds in about 3 seconds. I suggest buying two. Once you dump that drum you will see why. It is sweet!

This thing is a blast. No pun intended. It feeds amazingly well. My back plate came smoke colored vice clear which I prefer anyway. I gave it 4 bullets vice 5 for 2 minor reasons. 1. The lever used to load it could be of a better shape. Its current shape makes it hard to keep pressed down on the last few rounds. I wish it were more handle like for ease of use. 2. You really have to make sure you press down on each round fed into it while loading the mag or you will for sure end up with blank shell spot. On the bright hand side if you do mess that up everything will still feed normally.

I haven't actually fired any rounds out of my Saiga 12 with this yet. I fully loaded it and then manually cycled all the rounds. Every round ejected and every round fed which leads me to believe any problems I have will be strictly with the gun itself. I give it 4 shells because I think the loading assist lever could have been designed a little better. Its a button that you push in and then down. I think it should be built a little bit more like a charging handle because it's not the easiest thing to use. The easiest way to load is to push down on the shot shell as you push down on the lever. I didn't have to shave off any of the mag to get a proper fit as you do on many other Saiga 12 Mags.

Nice drum and a good fit with minor work to get it to lock. Just a little bit of work with a small file and it fit perfect. Not a fan of drums, but this one changed my mind- plus it's a fair price.

I ordered 2 and both of them arrived with a smoke cover instead of the clear cover which is a plus for me! These are also the lowest price I could find anywhere locally or online. They all worked perfectly in my SAIGA-12's without any modification. I highly recommend them to all SAIGA-12 users.
