I bought three of these when I got my new P226. I have fed more than 1500 rounds through these mags at the range. I have not had any sort of jam or misdeed, and the slide locks back every time. The anti-friction coating makes reloading the gun very fast and easy. The extended floor plate does not stick out very much, and are secured to the metal mags very securely. Everyone who owns a SIG P226 needs to own one of these magazines

Basically their 18-round mag with a floorplate extension. The floorplate extends past the normal length of the pistol grip (naturally). Works great and I will be buying more as soon as I save some pennies. Kudos to Mec-gar for making a product that is as good as, if not better than, the factory mags. If you own a Sig, do yourself a favor and see if Mec-gar makes a mag for it. The factory mags are way overpriced.
