Lake City's M856, tactical tracer ammo is made to mil-Specs by ATK Federal . This is the real deal brand new ammo and not reloaded. Very limited quantities of a special run packed in commercial American Eagle boxes. Tracer ammo is used for training in low light which allows the user to trace the bullet flight. Do not use tracer rounds in dry, wooded areas as they are known by the state of California to cause wildfires.

I bought 500 rounds of this stuff. I've gone thru about half the 500 rounds and have yet to have one that flew down range glowing. And I know how they should look from the military.
