This CMMG Mid Length upper is built from the standard forged A3 receiver with M4 feed ramps. The barrel is 4140 steel, government profile, 5.56mm chamber and bore, 1:9 twist ratio and 1/2x28 threaded barrel and the proprietary WASP surface treatment.

Forged M4 upper receiver is T marked and has M4 feed ramp cuts
Semi Auto bolt carrier
Mil-spec .250 diameter take-down pins
Each barrel is individually magnetic particle tested.
Barrels are engraved
1:9. Each upper is head spaced and test fired before shipping.

Bought this and put it on a DPMS lower. I've put about 300 rounds through so far with no issues. Had to adjust the rear sight (Magpul MBUS) farther than I thought I should, but it was dead on once I got it zeroed. I really like the mid-length gas system.
