I was a bit skeptical buying this part for the price, but from doing research I felt this would be the best choice to matching the finish on my S&W M&P15 Sport. It matched the finish on the rifle perfectly and it's an all around good looking piece. However when I got mine it was in a packaging that said "MADE IN CHINA" on it....not what I wanted on my all American rifle, but it works for the time being.
