||Good Quality for the $ - 11/22/2012|

|Compared to its counter parts out there, this is a good scope for the money. The body is solid. The finish is what I would expect for a duty scope. The glass is clear with no distortion. The focus adjustment works, which is nice for us older folks with fading eye sight. The reticle is sharp, even with the illumination. The green is a little bright, even on the lowest setting, but is fine during the day. The 5x magnification I like better than the 3x model. The 5x reticle is larger and I can see the compensation dots easily.
The only reason I gave it 4 bullets is due to the mount. I took the mount off to (re)Loctite the screws. I found that one of the heli-coil inserts backed out and boogered up the screw during disassembly. I fixed it myself but Burris needs to have a little better QC standards. I'd like the inserts if they didn't come out.
Despite the mount issue, I really like the scope.|

|On paper, the sight was just about perfect for what I wanted, but the guys over at Burris have some improvements to make. The build quality and finish appeared to be good. The eye relief was worse than worse. When I got the scope, the reticle was slightly twisted, and because of the large size of the center dot it was impossible to shoot past 100 yards. The illumination was pointless, and had no low light value. I will be spending extra for an ACOG.|
