| Versatile. I tried it on several pic rails and it locked firmly into place, could NOT be monkeyed around nor made to loosen without tools.
The rubber buttplug seats well in place, provides a flat, slip resistant monopod/rest with waterproof~sandproof storage compartment inside. Designed to store cr123 batteries inside, I keep mine elsewhere opting to use the storage compartment for things I prefer to be dry and sand-free. It took a while to adjust to a foregrip perpendicular to the line of fire instead of some sloped-back design, now I find myself occasionally handling my weapon by the foregrip, safely, confidently ready to bring to bring to bear. Color is TAPCO's flat dark earth, not the sandy tan pictured above. Great price, matched with CTD's incomparable customer service and speedy shipping easily earned this 5 bullets! |

| This rounded out the upgrade of my WASR, along with the matching handguard with rail, collapsible stock, and SAW-style pistol grip. This forward grip sits far enough out front to leave plenty of clearance for a large magazine, it enables a lot steadier aim from the standing position, and the storage compartment is useful too (along with the one in the SAW grip.) Taken together, the rifle is transformed - not the prettiest thing in the world, but who buys a basic AK for looks anyway? I would strongly recommend this item for any tactical rifle or shotgun with a bottom rail up front - it's inexpensive, rugged, and ergonomic. |
