Slotted muzzle brake reduces muzzle climb for a quick follow-up shot. Aligns with the barrel and replaces the standard barrel bushing. Easy to install, not legal in all areas,

No Problems, 03/23/2008 |

| I just bought the Muzzle Brake a few days ago. I was a little worried that it wouldn't fit right or that it wouldn't look right. I was wrong it looks GREAT and I had NO problems putting it on. NO drilling, cutting or filing needed with my COLT. It just dropped right in, and I'm not having any problems with my pistol not feeding or jamming. It's great and I really like the way it makes the old gun look new again. |
Failure to feed, 11/27/2007 |

| Muzzle break works great but causes barrel to rub on the inside of the muzzle break. The result was a failure to feed. The break works well but needs fine tuning on the part of the shooter or a competent pistol smith. I modified mine for the original instillation and only learned about the failure to feed when shooting. Due to the modifications, I am unable to return the part for a refund. Looks very cool on the pistol. |

| Unlike the last guy, mine needed no modification to fit on my 1911A1. It fits perfecly, and was ready to rock in seconds. |

| Nice peice for the money, you will need a dremel or file when instaling on a goverment model, The nub that hooks into the slide is a bit to big for a goverment nothing 2 mins of fileing cant fix over all GOOD DEAL! |
