| They work just fine for me despite what the other reviewers said, mine were just fine. They're not the best design I've ever seen, but they sure get the job done, and they're an excellent price. |

| These cuffs are not street ready. I got two sets hoping to just use them as cheap extras for transports (since we all know transport cuffs tend to disappear) but they aren't even reliable enough for that. One pair will barely close and open. There seems to be some mismatch between the teeth on the strands and the teeth on the pawl because there is a great deal of stiffness when you're trying to push the strands through. The other pair is a little better. Oil and breaking in did not help. These should really not be used for duty. You can try them on your girlfriend if you want, but screwing around with cuffs that aren't working while trying to put them on somebody who doesn't want to go to jail is a good way to get hurt. Please get a quality product for your own safety.

| This is a very poor quality product. I ordered 2 sets , one I was able to make work with a little help of a screw driver and the other set I could not work the pin double lock assembly. I did get a replacement set for the broken set and they were able to work after a little more help of a screw driver and a pair of pliers. These handcuffs were able to be easily opened with a paper clip by an inmate. Very little security and very poor quality item. Also the inmate could twist the cheap copper or brass metal that these handcuffs are made of. This product might be made just as a toy. Please think before you buy this product, I basically threw my money and time away twice with this product!
