Patterned after the original, this high-quality stainless steel knife is adorned with Nazi logos and insignia, along with the SS Youth motto, "Blut und Ehre!" (Blood and honor) screened on the blade. Measures 10.5" overall and has a 6" blade. Iincludes a black metal scabbard. Imported. This is a replica of the knife U.S. soldiers removed from captured Nazi troops during WWII.
Cheaper Than Dirt does not condone or support the message portrayed by the Third Reich.

great knife, 07/02/2008 |
| Reviewer: J Smith |
| This is a great knife. I got it yesterday and am wearing it now. The blade is not flimsy, thin, or wiggly at all. It is somewhat sharp. This knife is more than I expected it to be. |

decent knife, 05/27/2008 |

| Thanks for posting all the comments. It sounds like a decent knife. I think it should be okay for use in the woods and I happen to have German heritage and I love WWII stuff. I will comment back after I get it in the mail. |
History Art, 04/29/2008 |

| I plan to use this knife for a display piece I'm working on. This is a wonderful way to remember that the evil's in this world do affect us, down to our very souls. The Nazi's indoctrinated their children into their twisted views on ethnic purity, and social obedience. I will mount this knife in a case, with a number of other WW2 axis trinkets as a rememberance to the evil that we all must battle against. |
Great Mothers Day Gift, 04/02/2008 |
| Reviewer: Chet |
| I think this knife is good mostly for show or display. The blade is on the thin side and I agree with a previous reviewer that it looks like a strong guy might be able to break it, albeit with considerable effort. I would not want to have to rely on this in the wild, but since I rarely get out from grandma's basement, it's not an issue for me. I'm giving it five bullets nevertheless, since it's obviously a cheapie and anyone who expects a top quality knife for $10 probably shouldn't be buying anything on the internet anyway. Plus, you get a cool-looking knife with a swastika on it, which will go nicely with a matching helmet. |
CONVERSATION PIECE, 12/25/2007 |
| Reviewer: JER - ZBEAR |
| NO SELF RESPECTING MAN WOULD CARRY SUCH A CHEAP KNIFE FOR SELF DEFENSE OR ANY OTHER PURPOSE. THIS KNIFE MAKES FOR A GREAT LETTER OPENER AND A WONDERFULL CONVERSATION PIECE. THE INSIGNIA AND THE SWASTICA MAY BE OFFENSIVE TO SOME PEOPLE BUT THIS IS STILL AMERICA AND WE AS FREE PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE OUR OWN DECISIONS ON WHAT WE FEEL IS OFFENSIVE.
I AM NOT OFFENDED BY THE SWASTICA ANY MORE THAN I AM OFFENDED BY THE STAR OF DAVID OR THE CONFEDERATE FLAG. I THINK ITS GREAT THAT CHEAPER THAN DIRT SELLS THESE ITEMS AT SUCH A FAIR PRICE.
BUY A FEW TODAY FOR YOU NEXT HANUKAH OR CHRISTMAS AND ALL YOUR FRIENDS WILL WANT TO BE ON YOUR CHRISTMAS LIST TOO... |
its not bad, 12/03/2007 |

| I got two of these, and one of them had a blade that wiggled a little. Other than that, its not a bad knife |
Showcase Piece, 11/26/2007 |
| Reviewer: George S. Patton Jr. |
| It is altogether not great quality, mainly for use as a showcase piece. I do not see anything wrong with having it as historical memorabilia (well honestly I do but hey not my choice) but when you take it out in public for use it can only be expected to find trouble. To the guy who says the swastika is German culture, it is not, it was a symbol ripped off by Hitler from Native Americans. It is an interesting piece undoubtedly but I do not encourage use in public places as this is asking for trouble. I give it 2 mainly because with medium-heavy duty use it will wear out, not because of the ideology, I am not here to argue politics. |

| Reviewer: GERMAN FREAK |
| OMG I HATE THE WINY PEOPLE THAT THINK THE SYMBOL IS BAD...ITS A FREAKING SYMBOL OF HISTORY... WE ALL ARE AMERICANS AND WE SHOULD TAKE PRIDE IN OUR HISTORY. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO CARRY THIS KNIFE AROUND WITHOUT BEING POINTED AT. IT IS A SYMBOL OF GERMAN HERITAGE AND ITS VERY UNIQUE. SO JUST STOP. THIS KNIFE IS GREAT REPLICA OF THE ORIGINAL ONE, AND ITS NOT FLIMSY. YOU ARE ABLE TO CARVE A STICK AND STILL HOLD AN EDGE. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS YOU NEED TO SHARPEN IT ONCE A MONTH. YOU WOULD REALLY LIKE THIS FOR AN ALL AROUND KNIFE, YOU CAN USE. IF YOU ARE A WWII VETREN YOU SHOULD KEEP IT UP ON A MANTLE. THIS KNIFE IS VERY ENJOYABLE AND NICE PEICE OF HISTORY IN YOUR HAND. TAKE PRIDE IN YOU GERMAN HERITAGE OR AMERICAN PAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Good knife, 06/16/2007 |
| Reviewer: Mike G |
| Good knife. Im sure this is probably the best reproduction of the origional. Of course the origionals are hard to find since most of them were destroyed or corroded past use because of the loss of metal towards the end of the war. The only surviving would have been smuggled out of the country by Allied soldiers or civilians fleeing from soviet takeover of Berlin. Any which way instead of paying hundreds for an origional pay 10 bux for a fake. At least the look a whole lot newer. As for the whiney people that are afraid of the swastica and what it stood for...grow a pair ok. This is a ramek of a peice of history that will only be remembered if we keep items like this around for our grandchildren to see. Once the WWII vets are gone who will pass on the knowledge of the Hitler Jungen (Hitler youth "HJ") knife.

wow..., 04/14/2007 |
| Reviewer: patton |
| wow.....im kind of in shock that cheaper than dirt carries this item. the only reason i give it three stars is because it honestly is a good quality knife. for the price, i would of given it five, but it only gets a three because of the terrible thing it represents...dont buy it to carry, cause most people are obviously guanna think you believe in what it represents... |
