| I just wanted to add that I have had a few of these (this brand) lighter, and it does work o.k., for a while. *I DO NOT smoke.* I have also owned the 'real thing' (the Windmill Delta brand). Please make no mistake that this little lighter is ok for the money, but please do not trick yourself into believing that this is the same lighter that the Windmill Delta is. First off, this Sportsman lighter is about ten bucks. A Windmill Delta is about fifty bucks. A Windmill Delta comes with a life-time warranty....I have read no warranty info. pertaining to the Sportman. (If the Sportsman does come with a good warranty, then I stand totally corrected)
This Sportsman lighter is an o.k. value, but in my humble opinion, it is a sort of 'copy'. To me (again) it is kind of like a fake Rolex. An immitation Rolex may function for years, and then again, it may crash before you get home from the 'guy' you bought it from.... |

| Perfect. I knew it would be though. There are people at my work that have had this same lighter for years and it looks and works like new. You can't ask for a better or tougher lighter. |

| Don't buy this lighter! It's Horrible! It looks cool. I'm sure it's tough. It’s probably water proof. But this lighter doesn't light! The flame level control doesn’t work at all. It doesn’t seem like it is attached to anything. I’ve successfully got flame out of it about 20 times out of 1000. The flame I have got is about a quarter of an inch high. I’m sure that CTD is great about returning things but to me, on a ten dollar item, it’s just not worth it. Good luck with this lighter. |

| Woked good the first I used it, but after a month of use it lights about every other time and is not as windproof as a Zippo! Give me a made in the USA Zippo to depend on any time, since I like to hike and camp. If you would like to send me a better example of this lighter please do so because the only feature that seperates it from other cheap China made products is the fact that it is "water resistant". |

| Bought one several months ago, and it worked awesomely for about 3 or 4 weeks and then the lid broke, kept using it for about a week and then it just quit altogether, didn't hold gas anymore and it stopped sparking. |

| I bought this little beauty and it worked like a charm once i got it broken in.
Refills last me about a week and a half as an average pack a day smoker.
Loved the size, craftsmanship was excellent and for the price - BUY TWO - I JUST GAVE MINE AWAY TO MY GOOD FRIEND WHILE WE WERE OUT ON THE LAKE FOR THE WEEKEND IN AZ.
AND NOW I GOTTA BUY ANOTHER.
It was the hit of the lake party as every other crappy BIC failed all those wanting a light - Except this one. And gales were about 60-70mph.

| I bought mine about a year ago got it home filled it tested it, worked great stored it in my hiking pack for a year and needed to use it camping and It will hardly ever light. Im even playing with it now and just not very reliable. |

| I bought this lighter for a tubing weekend. The description of the lighter says it is waterproof, but the card that came with the lighter states "water-resistant". I have yet to test how waterproof or water-resistant the lighter is and I probably won't, because I am afraid I might ruin it. It is much bigger than a Zippo or a BIC lighter and would not fit comfortably in my pocket. The button you push to open the lid works only every other time on mine.
It does look cool, though and is windproof for sure. It lights my cigarettes, so I can't complain THAT much.

| I first got this for winter and wet-weather backpacking and it is one of the best gear items I own. It's everything advertised and I collect another one with each order I place. Great for personal use, sportsman's gifts, emergency supplies, etc. And I see these for over $20 from other sellers. This is a good bargain. |
