| I've had my Katadyn for over 2 years now and it is by far the best in water filters. It's true when they say you get what you pay for. I've used several other brands and got tired of paying $50 for a new filter every summer. Plus I once had my MSR water filter break when I fell back on my pack while hiking. If I wasn't with a group of people who had water filters of their own I would have been in trouble. I've used this on the nastiest of looking water, stagnant water with little creatures swimming around and it worked great. When I got done from my trip and cleaned the filter it looked about useless but cleaned up no problem and I didn't have to buy another filter. I figure if I take care of this it should last a lifetime. Great build, quality craftsmanship. The best you can buy! |

| I went on a two day back pack trip. When you have to carry everything on your back weight matters. I soon found out water is 8lbs per gallon. This saved the day. Works great and fast. A must have for back country camping. |
