Reproduction Swiss Military wool blanket has the famous red stripe and Swiss Cross. These are just as warm and cozy as the original Swiss blankets, but are brand new. Measures about 52x78", contains 70% wool and weigh 4.6 pounds. Great to keep in the car, at the hunting lease, camp site, or at home, Imported.

I've ordered the 100% mothball, er wool blankets and these I think are better. Not as itchy, just as heavy and have a different funk than mothballs but easier to get out. One night outside on the railing and they smelled like sunshine. Get one.

I got 4 of these for my trip to Alaska. It was -30 outside and about 50 inside. I had all 4 of my blankets and a zero degree bag, and i was hot. Amazing I now have them with me in my car. I have used them multiple times, crawl under the car on the side of the road, and such. Amazing

I got mine over a week ago. It did not have such a bad smell. I let it air out for 2 days in the backyard. I then threw it in the washer with Gain & Oxyclean. It does leave a lot of lint in the washer and dryer, but it can be removed and cleaned. Then I threw it in the dryer on low with about 20 fabric softener sheets, and it came out all right. I won’t complain for this price. I put this blanket in a larger trash bag folded up real nice and neat and placed it in back seat of my truck for emergencies. One of these blankets may someday come in handy, especially if you have little kids.
