Nothing wrong with this Yankee Hill product. These are some of the best parts in the business; so if you are having trouble with it being loose then just take it to a gun-smith and let a man tighten it down for you....are you kidding me? 1 bullet? because you cannot tighten down a part....wow now thats a useful review....

Does not stay tight. Every 4th shot it is loose

Bought it for my bushmaster M4 with Bushnell holosight and love it. Holds great zero and love that it locks upright. Looked at all of the other BUIS in the $100's and this one looks just as good and works perfect. Some of my friends like the sights with the spring action that lock in the down position. They are fine but not worth the $120 they paid. I would buy this one again.

These are some great irons. They are sturdy, inexpensive, and co-witness with the standard front sight post as well as several different types of optics I have tried. They lock on securely and fold small enough to get out of the way of any optic I have tried. The only reason I did not rate these BUIS with 5 stars is that, when extended, they do rock back and forth slightly. It is enough to lose zero at extended ranges, but I didn't notice any change in accuracy out to 200-300 yards, which in my opinion is about the max effective range of the 5.56 anyways. Overall, these are some of the best BUIS I have ever seen.

This sight replaced the detachable sight that came with my DPMS LR308 and with the riser for my scope can stay on the rifle with scope mounted and this sight folded. High quality with two aperatures just like the original. Elevation must be adjusted with the front sight. A little more expensive than some but well worth it.

I have several of these excellent flip-up/down rear sights. Positive, secure, sturdy and easy to manipulate. CTD has a decent price as well. Very good value.
