New CMMG Forged Mil-Spec A3 receiver complete with forward assist and dust cover. Upper receivers are T marked and are correct rail height. Hardcoat anodized as per Mil-A-8625 with black Teflon coating.

7075 T6 aircraft grade Forged aluminum receivers
Extended feed ramp cuts (M4 ramps)
T marked for return to zero capable scope mounts
Hardcoat anodized per Mil-A-8625 with black Teflon coating for added abrasion resistance

This was delivered yesterday. I have not had it put on my rifle yet. I can tell you that I know it will shave some weight off the rifle. This reciever has next to no weight at all. Can't wait to have it installed. Great Price Also..

Was impressed for the price...no problems with finished and have about 500+ rounds through it....the biggest complaint I have is its a really cheap dust cover and spring...spring is weak and I've had to reset it twice now...and dust cover came all scratched up....its an easy fix however...can't go wrong with this for a 100 bucks.

Unlike some of the other reviews, the upper I recieved was flawless with the finish. It was coated all over. I bought this upper for two reasons. 1 it was a great price for a budget build, and 2 I have a CMMG lower and it fit up really nice and snug. I tried different barrels to see how the M4 feed ramps line up and they fit perfect on DD barrels, SI , and DPMS. For the price this is a good product for the budget builder. Also great service from CTD and quick shipping.

This is a real good upper for the money. I got this for X-mas to replace my A2 upper. It fit perfect. The bolt carrier and charging handle move freely. My only complaint it the finish is a little weak. It is already worn from installing my red dot, but I am still giving it 5 stars.

I have built a number of AR’s using the CMMG uppers. I really like the marked slots. These Mil-Spec parts fit very well and rarely rattle when fitted to the lower. Great machining and finish work. Highly recommended for your AR builds.
