This sight should not be used on a weapon with heavy recoil. I mounted it on a tactical shotgun and it broke at the rail mount after 20 rounds. It is made in China. This sight might be OK on a .223, but I wouldn't trust my life on it.

This reasonably-priced site is actually better quality than the factory carry handle sight that came with my Bushmaster AR. It's tough, tight, and snappy. I would recommend it to anyone interested in a cheap, reliable sight.

For what I paid for, I honestly can't complain...at all. Fit and finish is great. Seems to be well built, too. The windage and elevation knobs click is decisive and solid, as is the detent between the two sights. Fit solidly on my DPMS upper, with no wiggle or play whatsoever. I have not yet had a chance to sight it in, but am looking forward to it, and will probably report back in, too. CTD's oober quick shipping is great too. Ordered on Thursday night, got it on Saturday morning...

The accuracy right from the box was surprising. I figured Id have to spend an hour or so to get it sited in, but I only spent 15 min. and put 20 in at 90 yds. Left a nice 4 in cluster. Attached easily, the only negative was that after 20-40 rounds the thumb screw backed out and it slide off the rail, so definitely need to put some locktite on the threads. All in all for what it costs not bad at all.

The sight appears to be decently made, and went right on. Shot about 40 or so rounds and got somewhat near the target center at 25 yards. Its not the fault of the sight but my eyes. I think that due to wearing bifocal contacts I can not focus front post and rear aperture together well. I even have some difficulty using a scope but that is what I will have to use on my AR. Again, this sight appears to be a good item.
