All AR-15 Conversion come in a hard, fitted case with one 10 round magazine, easy to install in seconds. Drops into the receiver in place of the bolt and aligns with your barrel's bore, very accurate, not permanent and No special permits required to own. Complete with one 10 Round magazine. Will not work in left hand models. Can be used with piston uppers but piston must be removed. For extra mags, see our item # MAG-051 and MAG-081.

I bought this for my Stag AR-15 That I got for Christmas and after sighting it in with Federal 55GR 5.56 I put it the .22 bolt and it held a 2inch group 2 inches low at 50 yards after 100 rounds of Federal 36GR I only had 2 jams I am very impressed and extreamly glad I purchased it (next is a 50 round drum)

I read the reviews and had mixed feelings about dumping $150 into a conversion kit that might not work with my gun. I took the plunge and it works extremely good. I soaked it in oil for a day..however I think just dipping it would have worked. It did fte and jammed a couple times but it was only because it needed a small amount of oil (couple drops every 150 rounds or so). I've ran over 500 through my DPMS no problems (other than a couple fte) however I do recommend buying the black dog mags 25 shots > 10 shots all day. I shot slow and did mag dumps. I'm loving this conversion and if you're afraid of buying don't be it's awesome!!

This conversion kit is awesome, a must have for all AR owners. I've put over 700 rounds through mine and have had zero problems with it. One thing to bear in mind though is that you need to use high velocity ammunition. The instructions themselves say you need high velocity ammo, otherwise there will be feed and extraction problems. With HV ammo though, you won't have a single problem. Even rapid fire won't cause feed or extraction problems with HV ammo. Also...despite what others are saying here, give the 10 round magazine it comes with a try at the very least. I used mine and it functioned flawlessly.

Was not sure if I wanted a complete upper or conversion. Went with conversion and love it- got it friday went to range saturday. Ran 550 rounds through it no miss fires or ftf. Only advice- buy a black dog mag to go with 10 rds not enough.

I gave four bullets instead of five because of the magazine that came with it. Throw the magazine in the garbage! I wouldn't put that piece of crap anywhere near my rifle! Anyway, I got my kit and soaked it in oil in a plastic bag for two days. I took it out shooting with the "black dog" magazine that I bought with it, and it worked absolutly perfectly! shot 300 rounds through it with no misfires. Definitly worth the money, this is going to save me a ton in ammo costs!!
