I bought this for my 3" Judge. Out of the first 5 shots, 1 was a dud and of the 4 that fired, the shells were so tightly wedged into the cylinder I had to pry them out with a screw driver. I wouldn't recommend this for the judge.

Good for single shot guns, NOT for Mossberg 500

I have used this stuff a lot as my grandfather for some reason likes to shoot .410s. The reason I am posting this is because I saw the review on 12/29/2009 saying this stuff is no good in the Mossberg 500. That's totally true. I have the Mossberg 500 (the .410 pump that I think is billed as the "home defender" or something like that). In my experience the problem with using these particular shells in the Mossberg has nothing to do with the shells per se, the problem is that the Mossberg 500 .410 has trouble, in my experience, with ALL 3 inch shells. I use the 2 1/2 inch S&B 000 Buck shells in my Mossberg 500 and have never had a problem. So I recommend the 2 1/2 inch buckshot shells for the Mossberg 500. That's actually why I came to CTD, to pick up more.

I picked this up for my Judge 3". shot a whole box with only one that i had to pull out from the back instead of with pushing the extractor. not bad in my opinion.

Bad Ammo

I have never done a review before and hope not to do one again. I’m deeply disappointed in your Sellier & Bellot 410 3 inch buckshot. It jammed every shot in my Mossberg 500 pump that I needed to push every round out with my cleaning rod. I read some of your reviews; some good, some bad. I knew I might have some trouble, but every shot? It was not much money. There is an old saying, “You get what you pay for” and I sure did. There is no return on ammo, so please be smarter than me. In fairness to Cheaper Than Dirt, I have not been disappointed before, IN GOOD AMMO!

I have 2 Taurus 3" Magnum Judges. This ammunition fits and shoots and ejects wonderfully. Recoil is acceptable; about like a .40 S&W. The destruction is quite impressive as well.

Not For Judge

This ammo is tight in the 3" Taurus Judge and when fired is almost impossible to remove from the cylinder. Hopefully it will fire in my single shot 410 shotgun.

NOT for a Saiga!

This ammo will NOT even load much less feed in a Saiga .410 mag. When measured next to a Winchester, the S&B is obviously longer (even though both are advertised as 3"). I now have 2 boxes of this stuff that is useless. Perhaps 3" is just not 3" in the Czech Republic??? Very odd.
