These are perfect for home defense and for taking down deer and other medium sizes game. I have killed big bucks and does with this ammo. Winchester makes a varity of good shotgun and rifle ammo. I trust this kind of ammo to defend and to hunt medium size game. That is why I gave it 5 bullets.

I got these for my Mossberg .410 Cruiser. It is what I got for the wife to have for home defense. They work great! Muzzle energy is terrific. Recoil is mild, in my opinion. Deadly, deadly, deadly, in the home defense situation. Three .36 cal pellets coming out at 1300 fps, total weight of 204 grains. That's 765 foot pounds of muzzle energy.

I've fired many rounds of this shell, as well as the 3"-5 pellet version, thru my Bond Arms Snakeslayer with excellent results at appropriate personal defense ranges. Patterns (as much as you can call 3 or 5 pellets a pattern) tend to be elongated vertical ovals which are perfect.

Great SD round for the Taurus Judge. All pellets hit a man size target at SD distances. At 10' will penetrate through 4" of pine. 0 problems loading/extracting cartridges.
