Originally, I rated this ammo at 4 bullets, but have since changed my mind. It fires fine if I only shoot a couple mags and let the gun cool down, but if I try to shoot more than 40 to 50 rounds at a time, the barrel gets hot and the rounds begin to stick in the chamber, which is a real pain in the you know what. This seems to never happen with brass cases. I'll buy a few boxes of brass just in case I need the gun for shooting zombies.

Ran 35 rounds so far through my Universal Carbine. No problems. Way cheaper than any brass rounds. Will buy more for target shooting.

Just bought 500 rounds for my Postal Meter M1 Carbine. It's a great buy and good ammo. I ran 1000 rds out of it before and only had 1 misfire and 2 that didn't eject! It could have been the mags, as it only happened in 2 of the 3 I have and they are 60 yrs old. I bought 3 more mags from CTD. The shipping was outstanding! It arrived 2 days after I bought it. It may be cheap in price but I don't think it's cheap in performance!

The ammo itself seemed to work just fine... my A-O M1 Carbine didn't appreciate the steel case ammo though. I had about every other round FtF... I had a few FtE's too. Couldn't narrow down if it was the ammo itself though, I think it was just my carbine being that others have had good results. Take a chance and buy some, your carbine might function fine with this ammo.
