GREAT ROUNDS, 05/13/2008 |
| Reviewer: QuickDrawMcGraw |
| I use these rounds in my Taurus 24/7 pro. As of this past Monday I've gone through 1,050 rounds with not one problem. I gave these rounds "5 Bullets" and recommend them to anyone heading out the range. |
best I've used, 04/28/2008 |
| Reviewer: Paul |
| I shoot a Ruger KP944 and have tried quite a few brands and types of ammo. By far, Winchester is the best I've used. Tried Remmington, Blazer and Magtech just to name a few, and have had feeding problems with every one of those brands so far. But the Winchester ammo has NEVER jammed and has been the most accurate of the bunch. Winchester made the .40 S&W first and they seem to have made it best. |
Extremly Good Ammo For The Range. , 04/08/2008 |
| Reviewer: Robert |
| I have owned both my Glock 22 and my Glock 27 for nearly 15 yrs. and go shooting at least once a week if not 2-3 times.
I have been using this same ammo for both range and competition, and have shot over 20-30,000 rounds of them in this time. As far as dependability I have never had any problems,Miss fires jams or any sort of failures. For the price they are probably one of(if not) the best round available. I will continue to use them on the range, and for comp. shooting as well. As for the guy with all the problems check your mags. Or as the other guy says " BUY A GLOCK".

Good for the range and defense, 03/15/2008 |
| Reviewer: cowboy/soldier |
| I have a S&W 40VE Sigma and have never had any problems with this ammunition. Clean firing, accurate and reliable for messing around, competion and personal defense (if ever needed). If your weapon cant eat these up then you need to spend more time cleaning and less shooting. There aint no point in getting accurate and a feel for your weapon if it isnt going to perform for you in the event you might need it to save your ass! Overall great ammo and i recommend it to anyone. |
Good Ammo but Very Dirty, 02/24/2008 |
| Reviewer: Doc Holiday |
| I've been using Winchester .40 S&W FMJ 165 GR target ammo with mixed results. By mixed I mean that the ammo seems to be very reliable, but I was informed that this particular target ammo was rather "clean" (i.e., little carbon /lead build-up, smoke, flash, etc.), but my experience is different.
I shot a full box of 100 rounds and had a number of cartridges that produced HUGE flashes. Some rounds were rather smokey, and both my gun and hands were VERY black after all rounds were fired. When I cleaned my gun, I got lots of carbon (leading?!) out of the barrel and there was grit on the slide (you could hear it). |
Great rounds, 02/19/2008 |
| Reviewer: Tony |
| I have been using these bullets for six years in a Glock 27 and Glock 23. I have never had a misfire, stove pipe, failure to feed or any other issues. They are surprisingly clean also. I average about 200 rounds once a month. Granted there has been the occasional flier but I've had that with much more expensive ammo also. You won't be dissapointed. |
good rounds, 02/17/2008 |
| Reviewer: mike |
| To the guy below this who said these were cheap rounds... it sounds to me like you have a problem with your gun, not your ammo. I shoot hundreds of these exact rounds out of my glock and i have never had one problem. These rounds are fine, if they dont work for you than maybe you should buy a glock. |

| I purchased 300 rounds of this ammunition for range use for my Beretta 96fs, and sadly it jammed my gun several times. Accurate? Yes. Dependable? Not on your life. I had one magazine in which the round failed to eject twice!! And i use Beretta mags. No aftermarket junk. I won't be buying it again. |
Good Kick, 01/29/2008 |
| Reviewer: Deputy Evan |
| Well i cant say enough about these rounds, i would even hate to see this as a defense round. Amazing accuracy on the range and superb kick, recoil is awsome. put a few rounds in paper book shot rite through and they feel awsome. i got the S&W M&P and it was just great, no jams, fast rechambering. highly recommended |
Reliable Practice Ammo, 01/10/2008 |
| Reviewer: G-Man |
| I've fired over 1000+ rounds of this Winchester value-line ammo through my CZ75B (40S&W). I have found it to be extremely reliable, never having experienced a single ammunition related failure. The cartridges are manufactured to Winchester's typical mil-spec standards and are generally affordably priced. The only negative comment I can make is that in the CZ75B, at least, accuracy with this round is inconsistent. I have since switched to PMC as my Practice/Range ammunition of choice as it is an equally well-made product which targets more consistently in my CZ. |
Great Deal, 12/29/2007 |

| Used this ammo exclusively for three years. About 200 rounds per month. I've NEVER had one not fire. Glocks, Walthers, and Kel-Tecs. |

| Totally happy with this load, have run over 2000 rounds through my Taurus 24/7 .40cal and have yet to have any problems. Have aso use the .38cal in my Taurus Model 66 (20 Y/O gun) and never an issue. Highly recommend this! |
S&W M&P Eats this 3 meals a day, 04/24/2007 |

| I run this through my M&P 40 and never have an issue. Plus, this ammo is very accurate for the price. Winchester White Box WWB is the best range ammo out there. |

| I Go To The range usually I buy ammo there but I'm never happy with the magte** stuff they have I also use 165-155grn ammo as my carry preference the range only has it in defence rounds thats what i carry so thats what I want to practice with So I've been searching high and low much ammo on-line and these winchesters in the grain I carry are terrific there accurate there reliable never had a problem in my XD Or my beretta 96 So I give them a 4 bullet rating(would be 5 but there not match). Fire away |
Best Value Practice Ammo!!!, 02/10/2007 |
| Reviewer: HighRoller |
| Over the last 2 months I have tried 100rds Remingtom UMC 165gr, 400rds CCI Blazer Brass 165 &180gr, & 400rds of this Winchester 165gr in my Glock 23 & Sig P229 SAS both in 40 S&W. Of the 3 I really prefer the Winchester. It shoots clean and loads easier in my mags. The 100rd boxes are a great value!! |
