After watching how well these performed on Federal's LE web site during FBI tests, I decided to give Hi-Shoks a go. Fed reliably in all my 45's and are quite accurate. The cavity in the hollow point is wide and deep compared to other premium .45 HPs I've used. Not as big as Speer's old "Flying Ashtray", but fairly large. It might hang up on pistols with narrow feed ramps. The price is impossible to beat. Will buy more.

I bought a few boxes of this to try it out...this is some reliable ammo at a great price! No FTF, FTE ran through a couple of guns. Cleaner than some of the more expensive ammo. I would highly recomend this stuff! (dont buy it all though cause I want more :)

This ammo functions flawlessly in XDM 45, is quite accurate, and is priced right too. Best bang for your buck IMO.

This is a very accurate round with low recoil and very little dirt to clean compared to lower quality ammo.Only problem is that I can not use it in ultra carry II Kimber. Blocks every time.185 grain Federal Classic Hi-Shok works great on ultra compact and regular size Kimbers.I have stopped using any ammo except Federal since I tried that first box.
