I bought several boxes of this ammo a few years ago when it was several $$ cheaper. It worked just fine in my S&W regardless of shooting it double or single action. My Winchester lever action accepted it too, but I didn't fire many rounds since there weren't many of them left by the time I bought it. But for a wheel gun, it suits me fine.
Not bad

For as cheap as these bullets are to buy and ship its one hell of a deal. And as far as reliability goes i have bought about 500 of these rounds and not had a single one not fire. And accuracy is damn good to not as good as the FMJ S&B.And dude I think you need to throw that gun of yours away because its your problem not these bullets!!!
Stiff primers

Out of a box of 50, no round could be made ignite in DA with my .357 magnum handgun, or at least not on the first ten tries because after that I was fed up. In SA all ignited on the first try. I know my hammer falls softly in DA but I never have problems with any other ammo, so I guess the primers used are thick-skinned. The ammo is rated about 690 ft/lbs out of a 4" barrel, and that may be true, but it felt more like 575 ft/lbs. It was VERY accurate left/right, but the climb of the hits was all over the place. Shot high. Maybe it was me. If you have a hard-falling hammer, this round would be good for hunting. Not for self defense, since the round my click in DA when you most need it. Not totally smooth going into the cylinder.
