2.0 Rating NOT WITH COLT HBAR - 5/16/2012.223 Remington Silver Bear HP 55 Grain 500 Round Box 3193 fps Zinc-Plated Steel Case2.0000

Buy a couple boxes first and try it out. This stuff works 100% with my Olympic, but has not fed the next round even ONCE, out of any mag, in my Colt HBAR. And yes, the rifle is clean, lubed, and maintained. My HBAR shoots Federal, Remington, and all decent ammo with zero problems, but this stuff is a "no go."
5.0 Rating Great Ammo - 5/3/2012.223 Remington Silver Bear HP 55 Grain 500 Round Box 3193 fps Zinc-Plated Steel Case5.0000

I bought 1000 rounds of Silver Bear for a tactical rifle training course I was attending. After reading the other reviews and doing a little research, I was prepared for anything. I figured, at the very minimum, I would get to practice weapon malfunction drills periodically thru the day. What I got was zero problems, and all 1000 rounds fired flawlessly thru my S&W M&P15. I will be buying more.
5.0 Rating Great buy - 4/15/2012.223 Remington Silver Bear HP 55 Grain 500 Round Box 3193 fps Zinc-Plated Steel Case5.0000

I bought 500 rounds of this ammo, and so far have shot about 250 of it. I have not had any jams or misfires yet. The only downside to this ammo is that after shooting, there is a lot of buildup. But, that just gives you some time with your gun to clean her up. You should be cleaning your guns after every use anyway. But for the price and reliability, you can't beat this ammo. Will be buying more!

Short feeds! I bought this for my Bushmaster and it will not feed properly.
4.0 Rating NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE - 4/7/2012.223 Remington Silver Bear HP 55 Grain 500 Round Box 3193 fps Zinc-Plated Steel Case4.0000

These feed a lot smoother than the TULA rough steel case rounds do. They cycled well and after 250 rounds, no issues with build up or issues with the weapon (Sig M400). Upon cleaning, however, I noticed a thin red membrane stuck in the bolt at the exit point for the firing pin. I believe this is from the primer, but the weapon fired even with this in there. Was it good for the gun? Who knows, but at least I now know it is dependable. On the bad side, after taking my weapon apart to clean it, the residue was extremely thick. Not bad for targets - straight as an arrow.
