Shooting controlled pairs with a clean Mini 14. After 42rds the gun malfunctioned but was able to clear. At 46rds the gun jammed and needed to be field striped to clean out all the crud. I will put the ammo in the bottom of the box as a last resort. This weapon has never failed with normal ammo.

I purchashed several boxes of this ammo not really knowing what to expect from Russia in .223 caliber. Other reviews said it was great. Now I agree! I shot 60 rounds through my older PAC West Arms CAR-15 with an Olympic Arms upper/w 11-1/2 inch barrel. First shot at 25 yards punched out the red bulleye! 50 yards opened up a bit but that is the nature of my short barrel rifle whic is set up for close quarters. No failures to feed and most of my shots end up grouping slightly to the left within a 2 inch group. My only complaint is I noticed the powder burns a little oily. This only required a little more cleaning than the more expensive ammo. I think the Bear Silver replaced this ammo. I will definitely order more when or if it is available again.

Good bulk ammo for playing and even hunting that does not require precision shot placements. Usually a 2" group at 100yards but cycles very reliably, no jams in at least 700 rounds so far and its fairly clean. The only downside would be the metal casing that cant be reloaded, overall good ammo!
