Great Ammo

Great ammo. Very reliable and accurate. Fed very well in my Beretta pistol which tends to be picky with .22 ammo. Far superior to bargain "brick" ammo for a good price.

so after literaly throwing handfulls of worthless CCI Blazer .22's at a coyote i grabed a box of these my dad gave me went back out and killed 8 armidilloes a few rabbits and a couple of squirells for dinner the next few nights, all out of a single shot .22 rifle. i must say these do have a loud report. and these are able to penetrate the tough armor of those littlee armidilloes so i give 5 bullets

I agree with the guy that said this stuff is crazy waxy. I used 200 rounds intending to "break-in" my brand-new 10/22. The white wax seemed to really build up in both the factory mag and a hotlips 25. No FTFs or anything, I just don't like all the waxy crud on my hands and in my gun, maybe I'm just being a baby, but I'll go with something different for this price point.

This is the most consistent .22 LR ammo available. I can put five shots out of five through a one inch circle at 50yds. with my 10/22. I have had minimal problems feeding this ammo out of twenty-five round magazines. It's simply the best out of all the brands I've tried.

As a certified NRA firearms instructor, I have shot many different .22 lr rounds throughout my years. I am not writing this to bash another manufacturer. CCI copper plated ammo .22lr ammo is the best in its class for accuracy, dependebility and ease of cleaning. I have never had a FTF or FTE with any of the CCI copper plated .22 ammo. Easy bbl clean up, very minimum fouling in the breach areas of my rifles or handguns. You will not go wrong with this ammo. Sure, its a little more expensive, but what is your time worth while you are trying to remove all the lead deposits and lead fouling in that bbl of yours?........stock up on it now.

Out of about 12 different types of .22lr ammo I have used and over 40000 rounds shot this is the only ammo I have had a problem with. This ammo is wax coated on the end, that wax isn't usually thick but on a few boxes it is very thick. while loading it into the magazine it will scrape off on the edge and causing a build up. After shooting 40 - 50 rounds it would start gumming up my rotary magazine on my Ruger 10/22, and ultimately cause it to stop feeding into the rifle. I could turn the mag upside down and pound it on the table causing a lot of wax to pile up on the table. I emailed CCI about it and the responder told me that sometimes their machine puts on too much and she was glad to send me a replacement box in the mail and it did come, but I will not use this ammo any more after this happening with three boxes. I now use much cheaper Federal round nose ammo and I have no such problems. The CCI is accurate but not worth the frustration. Federal and Winchester match ammo is cheaper and more reliable also as accurate.

I teach the NRA Basic Pistol Course at our gun club every month. We use NRA/club-owned .22's: Ruger Mark II pistols and S&W Model 63 revolvers. CCI Mini Mag rimfire has performed the best, in my 14 years of doing this. I can't remember ever having a misfire with CCI, or even failures-to-feed in the pistols, as we have with other brands of .22LR. I won't use anything else, because first-time shooters have plenty of challenges without having to deal with ammo malfunctions. CCI Mini Mag rimfire is reliable, accurate, and rather clean in the bore and action, too.

for my money, the best .22 LR pistol ammo. took my brand new Walther P22 to the range, tried some other brands, all copper plated with a similar fps and grain, and thought the pistol was a lemon. 60 rounds of cci mini mag later and I thought I had a different pistol. tight groups, not one FTC or FTE. costs a little more, but I'll only shoot this round from now on.
