This is the BEST tracer ammo on the market!! I shot it at knob creek and everyone loved it!! Not one jam, every tracer lit up and traveled well over 150+ yards. Nothing like it. NICE JOB PINEY MOUNTAIN AMMO. YOU MADE MY WEEKEND!!!
Test Fire A Success

After reading all the reviews of, several different brands of, tracer rounds. I decided to buy a couple of boxes of piney woods tracers. I loaded a 10rd clip to my New Reminton 597 .22lr Rimfire Rifle and proceeded to test fire the rounds. After shooting 2 clips, all 20rds fired successfully. The rounds traced out to at least 100yds and was very bright. I would like to see this particular brand of tracer rounds in a higher velocity load so that the round is visible for a longer distance. Piney Mountain does use a CCI brass caseing so we know it can handle a higher velocity load.

Just got back from the Knob creek shoot. Was rocking and rolling with this ammo in a full auto M16 using a Atchisson conversion kit. Great ammo bright red color and the cheapest tracer ammo I shot the entire week end!
worked great

I had a chance to try the tracers in both my 10/22 as well as a MK.1 semi auto handgun. I fired over 200 rounds, and they worked really well, fed, and fired true each time. I really enjoyed them and will buy more.
grandkids loved it!

We had a good time shooting it! A few didn't work perfect, but the kids loved it and was a good display. Very bright!
Generally Good Tracers

These .22 LR tracers fire very well in my 10/22 carbine (no FTF's yet). However, in about a third of the rounds, the tracer element will come off of the bullet before it hits the target at 100 yards. Nonetheless, these are still very fun. The rounds are in CCI brass with a lead bullet.

Worst junk ever. Firing semi auto from 20 yards, some were red rockets, some drop off as much as 4 feet, some chamber and some don't. Terrible quality control. Don't buy these.

I bought a box of these and tried them out in a .22 revolver with a 6 inch barrel. The bullets have VERY little powder and don't have the energy to completely leave the barrel. I shot the gun 3 times. The first shot went 1/2 way down the barrel and the last 2 shots piled up behind it. I was lucky to have not damaged my gun. I used a snubnose and they worked but only 1 out of 5 did what it was supposed to. They are very slow and looks like a small red flare. The other shots didn't do anything. They are rather quiet also. I wouldn't reccommend putting these in ANY GUN. They are dangerous. It took me about an hour to get the bullets out of the barrel. They were lodged hard. I used a cleaning rod to finally knock them out with a hammer. If you do get any, please be careful.

Shooting at twenty yards some were straight line red rockets while others dropped as much as four feet at twenty yards. Some would chamber in a semi auto rifle while others were too weak. Two box's of these were a total waste of money. I gave up after about twenty rounds of problems.

After using this ammo.........Shooting a semi auto rifle, some rounds are so weak that they drop four feet in 20 yards while others are a red rocket. Some rounds have enough power to chamber while others don't. GARBAGE AMMO ! Not even worth shooting due to poor quality control.
