Lights up nice, dead on center at 30 yards. Each round appeared to burn for about a half second in wood target after impact, Very Cool. I would like to see this ammo offered in 500 or 1000 round bricks, it's addictive.

50/50 Lit these are just cool, some feeding problems from the lead on the brass where they pulled the bullets and then pressed them back in but not a big problem, just wipe them off and go

I purchased 2 boxes of 50 rounds.
1st shot did not light, 2nd shot did light, 3rd shot did not light...etc.
I was ony able to shoot 46 of the 50 rounds from the first box b/c #47 came apart in the barrel during chambering and the bullet got stuck in the barrel. Had to knock it out with a cleaning rod.
The ones that did fire and light looked great, but only about 50% of the rounds lit up. I won't WASTE my money on this junk again. Now I see why other stores QUIT CARRYING Piney Mountain tracer ammo.
Smokin fun

Nice fun for the money, use them in two Remington Nylon 66's, sure Ive had a mis feed, Ive had a jam, Ive had some not be so bright but cmon folks, these are novelty items and should be used as such. Its great fun for novice shooters to be able to see where there shots are going, load up on em!!!! Ive also experienced jams, mis feeds and such with every brand Ive ever bought. You ones experiencing troulbe should have your guns shecked out, Im ordering more!

These rounds are great. I bought a box and loved them. Used all of them hunting jack rabbits at night. not sure wear the bad reveiws came from because i've had no problems whatsoever(maybe they should clean their guns). A few tracers did lose the coating mid flight and made it apear as if the bulllet dropped almost imediatly after the barrel, but the dead rabitt proved otherwise. make sure to clean your gun after shooting them. they foul up the guns barrel a little more than usual, but is to be expected. They use cci brass not sure about much more than that. I've shot a lot of 22 rounds and these shoot as i would expect.
This ammo WORKS!

I have shot hundreds and hundreds of rounds of this ammo in everything form a semi auto suppressed 1022 to a full auto American180. BRIGHT trace, cycles reliably. GREAT AMMO!A real crowd pleaser at the range. It still amazes me how they can make a little 22 bullet trace that bright and fly that straight out to and past 100yds. In a word....COOL!

Not Good...

If you have ever complained about or not liking a .22LR ammo because you had a misfire every once in a while, stay away from this junk. I had some of these puppies almost not make it out the end of the barrel. In fact one was stuck in the barrel at the end of the barrel... NOT GOOD. Quality that we are not used to. Please remember, buy American. The more money we keep in this country tne more jobs we'll have. Everyone driving a foreigh car should move to the country they bought their car from.
The Best Ammo EVER!!!

Test Fire A Success

After reading all the reviews of, several different brands of, tracer rounds. I decided to buy a couple of boxes of piney woods tracers. I loaded a 10rd clip to my New Reminton 597 .22lr Rimfire Rifle and proceeded to test fire the rounds. After shooting 2 clips, all 20rds fired successfully. The rounds traced out to at least 100yds and was very bright. I would like to see this particular brand of tracer rounds in a higher velocity load so that the round is visible for a longer distance. Piney Mountain does use a CCI brass caseing so we know it can handle a higher velocity load.

Just got back from the Knob creek shoot. Was rocking and rolling with this ammo in a full auto M16 using a Atchisson conversion kit. Great ammo bright red color and the cheapest tracer ammo I shot the entire week end!

I had a chance to try the tracers in both my 10/22 as well as a MK.1 semi auto handgun. I fired over 200 rounds, and they worked really well, fed, and fired true each time. I really enjoyed them and will buy more.

Generally Good Tracers

These .22 LR tracers fire very well in my 10/22 carbine (no FTF's yet). However, in about a third of the rounds, the tracer element will come off of the bullet before it hits the target at 100 yards. Nonetheless, these are still very fun. The rounds are in CCI brass with a lead bullet.
Bad Ammo

Worst junk ever. Firing semi auto from 20 yards, some were red rockets, some drop off as much as 4 feet, some chamber and some don't. Terrible quality control. Don't buy these.
Poor Ammo

I bought a box of these and tried them out in a .22 revolver with a 6 inch barrel. The bullets have VERY little powder and don't have the energy to completely leave the barrel. I shot the gun 3 times. The first shot went 1/2 way down the barrel and the last 2 shots piled up behind it. I was lucky to have not damaged my gun. I used a snubnose and they worked but only 1 out of 5 did what it was supposed to. They are very slow and looks like a small red flare. The other shots didn't do anything. They are rather quiet also. I wouldn't reccommend putting these in ANY GUN. They are dangerous. It took me about an hour to get the bullets out of the barrel. They were lodged hard. I used a cleaning rod to finally knock them out with a hammer. If you do get any, please be careful.

Shooting at twenty yards some were straight line red rockets while others dropped as much as four feet at twenty yards. Some would chamber in a semi auto rifle while others were too weak. Two box's of these were a total waste of money. I gave up after about twenty rounds of problems.

After using this ammo.........Shooting a semi auto rifle, some rounds are so weak that they drop four feet in 20 yards while others are a red rocket. Some rounds have enough power to chamber while others don't. GARBAGE AMMO ! Not even worth shooting due to poor quality control.
