These little puppies are awesome! If you use them with a BB gun you dont need a wad of paper for packing, just use the BB's as packing. I am putting these halfway into a piece of redwood lumber at about 50 yards with decent accuracy. They are mass produced, so dont expect every one to fit in the barrel, I would say about every 5th one wont fit. So far no problems in my CO2 powered daisy pistol only using ones that fit "loosely" in the barrel. Managed to shoot a rat earlier and the fletchette passed right through him and lodged in the fence board behind him. Now I will have to wash the 40 ft blood trail off where he tried to escape, ended up loosing to much blood and died mid run.
I will be ordering alot more of these little things soon.

i figured out a way to use these little beauties: if you have an air rifle that has a bore of .177, then these are your ammo for varmint shooting. i just bought a pound of these, and it took me all of aout 3 seconds to figure that out. but one problem is, you have to put a small wad of toilet paper behind it so the pressure can build up, i also suggest using a ramrod for easier loading.
Now What?

HA HA HA HA - This is great. I am stumbling around CheaperThanDirt as I am apt to do when I've got some money to kill and I figure I'll buy a couple of pounds of these things. There exactly as described - exactly the quality used in 12ga. Flechette rounds. Great stuff, good price and, as is always the case with these guys, delivered quicker than you'd ever believe. Only problem is, what am I gonna do with 2lbs. of these things now?
Outstanding!

Wish I had a nickle for every 2.75 "nails" I loaded in a Cobra. Thanks for the memory and I agree they are a great give-away for our brothers.
fantastic for display

i started collecting WW1 to Viet Nam US mil gear 25+ years ago and I have been setting up a display at different shows for years. I give away things to the vets that stop to look. I have given away dummy rounds, grease pots, condoms(Viet nam issue),and VN mag bags. These are the one item that everyone brings a friend to the display for. By far the best give-away I found.
