Got this stock for my Romanian WASR-10 AK-47 and it went on in about five minutes or less. The only problem was trying to take off my military style stock. results of ease of installation may depend on AK-47 type.

I bought this for my MAK-90, and it required some minor filing to get to slide it in to the reciever. But it worked great after that. I am very happy with this purchase, and it is a lot better than the original thumbhole stock that my rifle came with!

This fit on my rifle quite well however you're going to need a drill to install this. Room for improvement by possibly starting holes to make installing easier.

Didn't like the fact I had to drill and tap to get this stock on. 1 screw didn't want to set in all the way, so it's a little loose. I do like the ability to put the gun a little further away. Overall, I would buy this again, and recommend it. Tapco does make exceptional quality items.

Love Tapco stocks. Just too bad it did not fit on my MISR-90. All I'm stuck with is a Drag stock. YUCK!

It fit like a glove, once its in, its in. It had just a little wiggle in the butt stock, and not as good as my other T6 stocks like Knoxx. Mak-90 (96')

Bought this stock a few months ago. Was great on that AK. Bought another Romanian AK with a wood stock so i got this stock again. Another great purchase. I can shoot it with the stock all the way out and my short little girlfriend can shoot it all the way in. Would recommend.

Perfect fit on my Mak 90. It took about 10 minutes to install. I am picky about fit and feel on my guns, and I could not find anything wrong with this stock. It looks so much better than the wood thumb hole stock.

I was lucky. When I bought my Romanian AK it didn’t have a butt stock on it. I saw that the other parts were Tapco so I thought I would try this stock out. I had no problems with the drill bit. I put a little oil on the screws and everything went together in no time. I bet it took me 5 minutes and now it looks and feels 100 times better.

Fits like a glove. Took a whole 15 minutes to install. Looks great! Feels great!

I put this on my Norinco NHM 91. It has perfect fit and function. it is so much better than the factory stock I had for years. It is much easier to shoot with the adjustable stops. I never have had any problems with it slipping like a few others have mentioned.

Ordered for my WASR-10/63, wood stock came right off, this however took awhile to get on how I wanted it. For the price, it is a good stock, but as other reviews say, I suggest using the original screws and a bigger drill bit, no way the ones Tapco sends will hold for very long. I drilled two holes and it fit pretty good, but I still have some grinding/sanding to do on the stock to get it to fit without a 1/8-1/4 in gap...also I want the stock to go straight instead of that slight down angle some AK stocks have...if you are looking for a straight stock, this will take a little work, if you dont care, this is your stock, another option is to get an M4 stock and a stock adapter.

This is a great stock, but it was an absolute pain to get onto my WASR-10. Maybe I'm just an idiot, but the included bit was way to small, I ended up using one 3 times that size, and it snapped off in the plastic, I kid you not (cheap bit, but that was some of the toughest plastic I have ever seen. It nearly torqued out a drill meant for going through concrete.) After drilling out the snapped bit, the WASR screws would not thread with the pilot holes. I ended up having to use other screws and about a whole can of WD-40 because wasr screws wont create a thread pattern and stay in the pilot hole. Its an excellent stock but all told it took me close to four hours to install.

As usual, I read all the reviews on this stock, bought it, and hoped for the best. I was pleasantly surprised. This thing is rock solid on my stamped Romanian AK. I absolutely love the way it looks and feels tucked into my arm. It took me about 20 minutes to get the factory wooden stock off and only about another 5 to put the new one on. And all it took was a drill, drill bits, and screwdriver. I did't use the drillbit that came with it because it was too small, so I went a few sizes bigger and was able to reuse the factory screws without a problem. All my gun buddys are jealous of the solid look and feel of this stock. They said its better than the ones they've paid alot more for. I will definately buy another one for my next gun build project. The hardest part about this install was getting the wood stock off. After that, the stock slid right into my wasr10 with no problems. The back wobbels just a bit, but no problems when firing. I got some better screws, since those that came with it were a bit small for my taste. I saw the same product for twice the price at my local gun store, and shipping was super fast.

I bought this stock because it said that it works with all AK-47 variants but if you own a WASR 10 you will have to grind down the block that goes into the reciever with sand paper for at least an hour until you get a semi good fit. My stocks sits crooked faceing inward and although it looks a little funny it actually feels right for some reason. I like it but it needs to be modified if you have WASR 10.

I put one on my Saiga conversion and love it. I can empty a magazine and it never ratchets between settings. Very solid and makes it great for different sized shooters and moving between stalking purposes and bench shooting.

I got this last week and I did like a lot after I installed.It took me a little of effort to tide all the way down the screws came with the product (probably my own mistake at the time to open the holes with the drill,not deep enough).Buy also the paddle.It comes as a separate item.But I have to mention the GREAT shipping process through CTD.Guys,you really surprised me for the good !!!!!

i ordered this for my wasr10 and it works great. mine is in multi cam and it looks awesome. just wish it had a recoil pad on the butt because the rib on the front of the butt hits my cheek. if it had a pad it would move it forward enough so that it wouldn't. otherwise an awesome product.

It installed w/ no trouble at all , solid . The multiple stock positions facilitate numerous usages: close quarter , sniping, & field apps.

This is a good choice. Fit perfectly in my MAK-90. So snug I probably didn't have to screw it in.

It only took me 5 minutes to install my Collapsible Stock. Take the old one off, slide the new one on, drill two holes and screw in two screws. Easy. Looks great.

I have tried three different stocks on my MAK-90 since removing the factory thumb hole stock. The Tapco stock was easy to mount, fit great, no custom fitting was needed. I did replace the factory screws with heavier stainless steel torx head screws. The best thing about this stock is that like the stock on my Colt Lightweight AR-15. I can adjust the length of pull when I wearing a pack or vest. Great stock!!! CTD YOU ROCK!!!

Added one of these to my RPK Clone and it works great. Very easy installation. The original stock was to short for me and this one works great for myself and everyone in the family. The RPK with this stock and matching upper and lower guards look and operate great.

My girlfriend got me this stock for my bday after hearing me say i didn't like mine. Overall I am satisfied. It installed on my wasr10 in about 30 minutes. It does require drilling on the stock for the mounting screws. Didnt fit quite as tight as i would like but overall is a great deal for the price.

I bought this for my SSR85C-2 Bulgarian AK47..This stock is well made for its purpose..I gave it five stars because i have already cycled thousands of rounds through my ak either by rapid fire or bump firing my gun and this stock has held up pretty good so far without any type of slipage or breakage.You cannot beat a lifetime warranty especially if the product is made for a firearms.Tapco also includes a drill bit and screws for easy attachment to your ak47.

My romanian ak 47 came with one of these on it and like someone else said, every time i take a shot it slides down a notch. I have to try and strap it down some how.

I wasn't sure when i bought the stock on how good it might be. But i got it any way and i'm glad i did! It mounted on my AK-47 with out a problem. That is after it took me some time to get the wood stock off. It works great! It's worth the money! Thanks CTD, you did it again!

this piece is a very nice addition to an ak without wooden handguards. it looks awesome and is about an inch shorter at its most compact position, which is really comfortable. seems really sturdy for the price also. get one! thanks CTD.

Love the Stock, but the only thing I had a gripe about was that you need a drill for the screws. I understand the reason why not every screw is the same ETC... also it was extremely shakey due to a gap on the bottom once placed. I put a piece of sheet metal in it and its perfect. BTW this will fit a Yugo/ Vector Arms AK.

Tapco puts a life time warranty on these stocks. Just go to there website and get the info to send it back. they will replace it no questions asked. That alone makes these stocks a better value hands down. PS.- mine has worked great for over 2 years.

$44.00 WHAT A DEAL!!! Easy to install, very sturdy, does not wobble when fully extended. You can pay more for another brand but why?

Stock is pretty comfortable and looks good on my rifle. Stock is loose though, and rattles in all positions. Not a problem, if anything just an annoyance. Did fit rather loosely on my romanian AK, so I had to shim it up to help keep things in place. Will be looking for a buttpad and cheekrest for it soon.

I can't believe this got such good reviews!!! I'm wondering how many people actually shot this thing before they wrote the review. Yes aesthetically, its great. And it went on my WASR easily, but then I took it to the range... Almost every time pulled the trigger, the stock would rachet forward one position, so by the 5th round, the stock was completely collapsed. I installed a velcro strap to hold it in place which actually created a nice pad for my cheek, but how ridiculous is that!!!! I can't believe this didn't happen to anyone else!

Nice and sturdy and looks mean as hell!! My WASR 10-63 came with the wire side folding stock that was very ugly and very uncomfortable. This is a BIG improvement! The screws that came with it are el cheapo (they're basically short drywall screws) so I'll be making a trip to the hardware store for some better stainless steel screws. It was here in less than 7 days, even with the cheap shipping. Thanks CTD!

This seems to be a quality stock, and I really like the look of it, as well as the adjustability (got long arms). As others have said, installation is easy. The stock is a bit noisy from rattles, etc, but this does not worry me much. I have not shot with it yet, but it seems like the hard, square-edged butt-stock would get uncomfortable after a while. I was able to find a Tapco-brand recoil pad to fit the T-6 and am eagerly waiting its arrival.

stock has good length opposed to short chinese stocks but found that it pinched my cheek when i was shooting

Fits really well on a Norinco MAK 90. Had no problem fitting it at all. Just remove old thumbhole stock and fit into rear of receiver. I have a stamped-straight cut receiver, so you will need to check your MAK 90 to make sure that you don't have the slant cut (the one that came with the underfolders are usually slant cut) Some people say that this type of stock doesn't look good on an AK, but this thing looks beautiful. Got the Saw pistol grip, and overall it look so much better than the old thumbhole stock. The telescoping stock makes the rifle much easier to handle in tight spaces, yet looks better and feels better than an underfolder. If you have a MAK 90 and want an upgrade this is the one.

I had reservations about replacing the wire folding stock on the Romanian WASR-10/63 AK variant I own with the T6, but, once I installed it (in about 5 minutes tops including removing the old one) and tried it on the shooting range, I was very impressed with it. I can position the stock for myself, my wife, and my children in seconds. I have recommended it to my friends which are looking for something better than "stock" stocks.

It's a solid stock, but it WILL NOT fit a YUGO underfolder (century arms ak-47). Wish it would work but I'll have to stick with the underfolder.

Great stock, like all other products from tapco. Downside; the screw sent with the stock is entirely too weak. Make sure to reuse the screw that held the wood stock on, or purchase a stainless steel one that is alittle bit fatter than the one that comes with the stock. I say this simply because the screw installed with mine had the head snap off approximately 1500 rounds into having the tapco stock installed. You will save yourself a considerable amount of time and effort going to the hardware store and buying a shiny stainless screw.

I just got this and installed on my romanian with a stamped reciever, nice tight fit, easy install with included drill bit and screws. Very sturdy, after about 100 rounds it kind of beat the h3ll out of my cheek though, I will be looking for some kind of cheek rest. It is also a tiny bit loose in some positions, not a fault really... just a bit noisy. But you can't beat the price for such a durable stock!!

Nice stock. Looks good. Easy to install. It's a little loose in some positions. If you are using a scope on your AK I recommend a padded cheek rest for this stock. It's much more comfortable

Fit my WASER-10 with miner agustments but is sturdey and compact, just what I was looking for.

Easy to get on my Romanian AK, fit nice. It's Tapco so it adds another american made part to your Ak. Atleast the one they sent me said Tapco. The only thing I didn't like was the slide felt a little wobbly.

This stock rocks !! I did have to sand a little bit off the reciever end but it fits. This stock gives the rifle a whole new attitude !! It looks and works good !! I also recomend the Command Arms Accessories Pistol Grip, part number #37148.
