I bought this for my I.O Inc. STG-2000 (5.56x45). It has worked flawlessly. I have a flashlight and a forward grip attached to it and its working great. I did however have to cut the original forearm block and pin off the rifle to make this fit so there is no going back, but my guess is you will never have to. It is very snug with no play in it at all. I'm extremely happy with it.

Not to bad

It looks very cool and there are lots of places to mount stuff but it has its flaws. The top rail is not level, it’s a little off. You must remove the whole handguard to clean the gas tube. This makes your gun very front heavy so it is harder to operate when any fatigue sets in. IMHO You’re better off getting a TAPCO interfuse handguard.

I have a Saiga 7.62x39mm with Tapco T6 stock system, the quad rail, vertical foregrip, bipod and reciever mounter red dot. It's a 200 yard gun with out an issue but as many of you know it has serious muzzle hop. I put on this product in 5 minutes and mounted the fore grip in 30 seconds. Took it to the range and threw 500 rounds through it at varying distances and it was rock solid when it was all said and done. Changes the whole feel of the rifle and it is QUALITY. Some of you may be all for the flashlights and other stuff but I just wanted a solid base for a foregrip that wouldn't break when dropped and this is an excellent product. Worth the money and while it is kind of oversized, that is why you put a quadrail on an AK in the first place, for more options. So I recommend it. It was givin 4 bullets because I have not put a sight on the guard itself therefor it is unfair for me to judge it that way. Have a good one everybody.

Not TOO bad.

So I bought this seeings how there are really only 3 aluminum rails for the Saiga rifles on today's market. There are many "Poly" handguards.. but those aren't too great. This forearm so happens to be the most affordable. First off, this thing is huge.. it's not as slim as the DPH rail or the SMG rail. Second, it doesn't screw in like the factory stock forearm does, it clamps around the barrel and screws down.. but it is pretty sturdy. I would have liked it to have clamped down and screwed in. Third, the top rail seems to be a little canted. And it also sits up VERY high, if you but rail guards on the top rail (Other than the ladder kinds) then you might not be able to use your iron sights. But, like I said: This is the most affordable aluminum rail for the Saiga rifles, and it does get the job done. I'd suggest buying at least one to test out.

This item says .308 in the title but doesn't fit. The barrel is slightly too wide. Possible to make it fit with a good bit of filing or dremel. Otherwise a good product.
