Not TOO bad.

So I bought this seeings how there are really only 3 aluminum rails for the Saiga rifles on today's market. There are many "Poly" handguards.. but those aren't too great.
This forearm so happens to be the most affordable.
First off, this thing is huge.. it's not as slim as the DPH rail or the SMG rail. Second, it doesn't screw in like the factory stock forearm does, it clamps around the barrel and screws down.. but it is pretty sturdy. I would have liked it to have clamped down and screwed in.
Third, the top rail seems to be a little canted. And it also sits up VERY high, if you but rail guards on the top rail (Other than the ladder kinds) then you might not be able to use your iron sights.
But, like I said: This is the most affordable aluminum rail for the Saiga rifles, and it does get the job done. I'd suggest buying at least one to test out.
