Good product, easy to install, installed on the Draco AK-47 Pistol.

I've had this rail on my WASR-10 for about 2 months and have since put about 200 rounds through the rifle. It's a really nice, quality piece of furniture. It went on in about 20 minutes and without any hitches. One thing I will say though is make sure the bolts are tightened down good. After putting some ammo through the rifle, they come loose a little, but not in a way that will affect your shooting at all. The grip does not come loose. Well worth the investment. Kudos once again to CTD for the service and quality.

I rated 5 bullets because for the price, this product is great. I'm not sure how hard others were tightening the upper guard down, but I made it nice and snug and the weapon cycles just fine. Very solid. I can carry the weapon by the vertical foregrip while shaking it around and I get no play whatsoever. Now I just need my EoTech! CTD's shipping was fast and right on time. Used 2 shims on my WASR 10/63. Installed with a Grip-pod vertical and a Surefire light. Great looking product.

I ordered one of these for my WASR-10 and it fit great. Installation was easy and fast. The hardest part was removing the original handguards. Very tight fit, no wiggle. Leave it to CTD for fast delivery!

I mounted this on my WASR-10. It's rock solid, easy to install. I have no complaints. The rail pads look really good.

My girlfriend bought this for me and it works great. Needed some gunsmithing to make some lips on the lower part, but once it was on, it wasn't coming off.

It is nearly impossible to find a replacement handguard for the Polish Tantal so I decided to try my luck with this one. After about 45 minutes of dremeling this grip fit nicely. I used the dremel EZ409 wheel bit. Just go slow and exercise safety when dremeling.

Just as promised these hand guards fit my WASR 10/63 PERFECTLY (with the 1.0 mm mounting shim included). However, I had no idea just how HEAVY 12.8 ounces really is until I tried these guards. They seem to be very high quality, and I wouldn't be afraid to drop the gun (probably loose one of the rubber rail covers though). For a user that wishes to remain nimble and mobile, this is the wrong product. If you plan on using your AK as an awkward billy club, this is the hand guard for you! By the way, I also don't care for how the guards clamp onto the barrel with screws... after the barrel gets hot; having something CLAMPED to it could make the gun even more inaccurate! My stock hand guards don't require screws to stay on! I returned the product.

This system isnt bad. I just installed it on my new Romanian WASR-10/63. I had a problem with the shims; I used most of them and made that hard to close the clamp. Once it was closed the rail was a little loose. Then I had trouble with the gas tube, I had to grind the front ring down to almost nothing. However, once the top of the rail was screwed on nothing wobbled and it is now a snug perfect fit. It looks great, time to go to the range...

I purchased this rail system for my Romainian WASR-10 GP with the intent to mount a light and laser. Great rail and cant beat the price. I give it 4 stars because upon intial installation the weapon would not cycle without assistance. Do NOT overtighten the allen head screws during install or it will pinch the gas tube. I loosened them and put some loctite on them and greased the gas piston. Works great now. Also, this system adds considerable weight to the front of the weapon but makes up for this in its stability and ease of installation. I would buy this again.

If you buy this for the 20" rifle with the carry handle, keep in mind that you'll have to do some cutting to the handguard, handle ring around the barrel, or both to get this handguard on. It took me about an hr with dremel cutoff disks and a grinding stone. It's a perfect fit on the 16" rifle without the carry handle ring. Great quality.

This product fit my WASR-10 underfolder perfectly. Zero shims used and the system is rock solid. The material used is great. Finish is awesome. Installation was simple. The underfolder will still lock forward with the correct rail covers removed. If you are looking for a rail system for a WASR-10, I highly recommend this one.

Excellent fitment. Snug fit and very useable. Does not block iron sights. Wish it sat closer. Hard to use with scope systems. Does reduce some heat, but after a few hundred rounds the heat will soak in and stay hot. I was very impressed with quality and fitment of this quad rail and would definitely recommend it over others. Installation took about 20 minutes if you know how to take apart your AK. Includes good quality directions. I have fired over 500 rounds through my AK, and it's still a sturdy rock solid product.

It fit my Romanian WASR-10 perfectly. Took about 20 minutes to install. It is very sturdy with no wobble at all.

I give this a 4 because it is a very nice piece of equipment but It will not fit my Milled Norinco MAK-90, Hopefully I can use it on my upcoming Arsenal though.

I ordered this and received it 2 days earlier than estimated. It took me about 30 minutes to install with no modification. It is as solid as a rock. I put a vertical foregrip on it and there was zero play. So far I am very happy with it, construction appears to be top of the line. I used some blue locktite to keep the bolts from backing off...not sure if its necessary but better safe than sorry. Would recommend to anyone. CTD did an excellent job with shipping/handling and kept me informed of the tracking status via e-mail. Very well done, you'll be seeing more business from me!

well, now that i have this rail i sure wish i would've bought the 3-5 day shipping instead of 7-10 days. looks and feels awesome if your gonna put a pistol grip on the front end i suggest the tapco "shorty" i dont know if thats the real name but its the 2 inch one not the fullsize i bought the full size and you cant reload the bananas with the grip c.q.b style i should've known that i played with enough of them overseas..

I bought this quad rail based on the strengths of the reviews that I read and boy was everyone right. This handguard transformed my Draco into a bad arse looking gun. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. The rubber rail covers feel great to the touch. I had very few issues installing this product. Buy it you will like it!

Great, well worth the money for it. It looks good on my WASR. The screws didn't quite line up, took some banging, and yelling, but I got it. It's a very tight fit on my AK and definitely worth the purchase.

This is my second purchase of this product and it's well worth the money. My first set fit like a glove on WASR 2 so I thought I would try this on a Polish Tantal after reading an earlier review about a Tantal. Well, it took much grinding and filing and a few choice words to get the upper forearm to fit over that blasted gas tube but I finally got there. Looks good even with the gap on the upper rail where the Tantal upper forearm meets the receiver. Great for your traditional AKs but not the easiest installation for a Tantal. Still, it's worth the money.

wow where do i begin with this product? first off the installation was a real breeze. I have a romanian ak-47, and all the tools i needed were the allen wrench provided, a punch and hammer, and a flat head screw driver. i didn't need to modify anything. secondly the look is truly amazing, i looked at a lot of front rail systems and none of them look as good as this one. it transforms my ak from looking like it was made in 1947 to a modern assault rifle. over all you will be satisfied with this product.

I have a WASR-10 and I had this on in 20 minutes. I have not had any issues. I have the underfolder and took off the rubber guards closest to the underfolder-stock plate. And have no issues at all. I have run 100 rounds through this, and did not experience any movement on my halo sight or my laser. It is nice to get something for my AK that fits as described!!!

I put this on my WASR-10. It took me about 20 minutes to put this on the FIRST time. It was tight but I wanted to add a shim because I saw a space between the handguard and receiver. When I put the shims in(even the thinnest shim)the upper rail bolt holes wouldnt line up. I tried and tried. My gas tube didn't have enough vertical play/space to put in a shim. For the upper and lower bolt holes to mate/line up. I guess I could have used my dremel on the gas tube front flange some, and then shimmed it up. But seems solid as is. I like the way it feels and seems high quality-use blue loc-tite. If my hand guard flange was a little longer it would have been perfect. I can't use 40 round mags with the vertical foregrip (regular length Tapco foregrip and the 30 rounders are fine).

Got this for a century arms model 1960. Wrong rail. I about reinvented the thing getting it on. People who say the top is offset probably didn't screw it on right. Couldn't have been a worse fit than it was for me and I got it on straight, but not w/o careful use of the screws. If you have a WASR, this thing is probably better than your gun, but others might try searching krebs, samson or midwest industries for a nicer rail. This thing isn't bad. Will do for the time being. It's not a plastic piece of crap at least. The rubber rails are like harder than concrete.

I purchased this wondering if it would fit my Draco pistol. Lets just say that the fit is Awesome! It took about 20 minutes to install. The fit is tight and there is zero rattle or movement. I installed a red dot sight and a Tactical flashlight on the side. I wish I could upload a picture cuz this thing is SICK!! Just buy one you will NOT be disappointed.

I mounted the Leapers UTG handguard onto a Century arms GP1975. It was a lot of work. It involved a bit of grinding. I had to grind the forward "tabs" on the front of the gas tube (so as to avoid the "pinching" that others have complained about) and had to grind a bit of the underside of the upper. All said it took me about 3 hrs. It fits great now and I was able to fully seat the lower and the upper w/o any restriction on the piston movement. Note: If you plan on putting one onto a gp1975, GET THE AKS-103. The Romanian WASR is just too much work. Bottom line: Functions perfectly.

I bought one of these about a year ago for my WASR 10/63 AK-47 and I like it a lot! It's now on my Romanian Draco AK-47 and it fits like it came with it already installed. YES!! I recommend this for both rifles the 10/63 or Draco, get one YOU'LL LIKE IT!! I'LL SWEAR BY IT!!!!!!

I ordered this rail late Monday night and got it a day earlier than expected on Thursday. It fit perfect on my WASR and it looks awesome. Compared to some of the others out there you can’t go wrong for the price. Awesome rail and defiantly worth it!

This is a real solid piece of equipment. I fit it to a Romanian WASR and it fits like a glove. I did not have to manipulate it in any way and it took me about 10 minutes to install. The two pieces fit together tightly and the screws are flush to the unit. Really adds a new look to a old gun and being able to fire the weapon now with a fore grip makes it easy and fun the shoot. Solid and quality feel!!

Great look, and not to heavy. Just dont over tighten the four allens because to much pressure can be applied to the gas tube. I would definitely buy this product agian, and great service from CTD.

This thing is nice. C than D shipped fast and accurate. I had it installed in about 10 minutes flat by following the instructions to the letter. It fits my Romanian/Polish Vector flawlessly. It is now all ready for a reflex sight. I opted to leave the rubber inserts off for now for I like the look. This went on in under 30 minutes, the spacers worked great, and it feels pretty sturdy. I don't imagine it coming off any time soon. My one complaint is that I own an underfolding stock and due to the larger handguards my stock no longer locks in place. I wouldn't say this was a deal breaker, as I can still fire with the stock folded, but I'll be machining off the nub that is in the way. A better alternative would have been buying the much more expensive Ultimak product. This is highly recommended, just be aware if you happen to own a folding stock AK.

So I got this rail and the the UTG vertical grip and it fit great on my wasr 10. Everything about this rail is great. So comfortable. Only problem I had was with the u shaped plates. They just would fit in right but with a litttle work I fixed up right quick. This rail is a must have.

I bought this on Monday it was delivered on Wednesday! I hated the original short wooden stock and hand guards so I bought the collapsible stock and these rails. Sweet! !!!!!!!!

This item is a must have. Out of my 4 Ak-47's the one I like the most is the one with this on it! I also have the scope mount and the folding buttstock. It makes your Ak-47 look just like an AR-15 but with much more power.

Bought this for my I.O. INC. AK-47c. Easy to install and looks greats with out rubber rail covers but went to range and you will need them if you dont have foregrip. I think this is the best handguard you can buy and great price. One down fall. It makes the rifle front heavy, but other than that, great handguard.

This is a great product. The instructions were clear, the installation was a cinch. I don't think you could get more bang for your buck. If you follow the instructions carefully, you can have this product installed in about half an hour or less. Very very simple installation if you follow the provided instructions and it fit my Romak 99.2 like a dream with 2 provided inserts. Improves the look and feel of the foregrip without adding excessive weight.

I can't say it makes much difference all AK rifles seem a bit different they are not made as precisely as other guns maybe. I bought this and it fit may not be perfect but that could just be my fault. I love how it looks and recommend it to anyone looking for a rail. It is a bit heavy but it's worth it. I noticed someone said the spacers were an issue with the cleaning rod fitting. I did not have one with my rifle and it seems they do get in the way so you may need to watch that if you care.

I'd have to say that this is the best purchase I've made for my Romanian AK thus far. Simple monkey installation, fits perfectly with absolutely NO GUNSMITHING and an overall short enjoyable experience fitting this rail system. It's well worth the price! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS RAIL SYSTEM. Fits my Romanian AK like a glove. Bought it sunday, received it friday. Took me about 10 minutes to install with a screwdriver and the included allen wrench. Spacers tapped in perfectly. Couldn't have been easier to install. I really love the way it looks and feels. Adds needed bulk to the front with a solid, quality product.. Keep em coming CTD....

I ordered it with the knowledge that it may take some time getting it on. I had the gun stripped down and ready when it came so there where no issues with the upper handguard like some have had. I only gave it 4 stars because the top hand guard dosnt sink down all the way and mesh with the lower hand guard like its supposed to, Its not a problem cause if u tighten the bolts evenley its tight and ready to go. Keep in mind as a buyer that there are so many variations of ak's on the market and aftermarket parts may take tlc to custom fit. Be patient and u wont regret this product.

Ordered this for my new AK and the feel is unbelievable!!! Much better than the wood by far. I had no real issues in the installation as it went pretty smoothly. Only problem i have is the cleaning rod is about 1/4" from being totally seated but I will probably just have to make a minor adjustment with the spacer I used. The rubber up top totally obstructs the sights view but i plan to put optics on it anyway. You will not be disappointed in this purchase

This is an excellent mount, heavy duty, and very well machined. I am actually surprised it does not cost more of the greens. Installation was a little time consuming but necessary. The stock provides excellent fit onto my WASR-10 with several spacers left over. After first installing the upper guard and tightening the screws I realized the top rail was slanted far to the left. Dis assembly and re tightening of the bolts was necessary paying special attention to the alignment of the grove on top of the rail and the groove on the rear sight. Also realize that tightening the screws fully may result in the aforementioned problem. I have mounted a vortex red dot scope (cheaper and excellent stand in for AIM Point) and an ATN reflex sight on the rails to this date. the ability to have a front mounted sight gives a scout setup with quick acquisition. Cons: This is a heavy piece. I installed a Folding stock reducing the weight in the rear and the rail system's weight has made it front heavy. With the Vortex red dot scope it is way too noticeable and problematic in weight. just to understand I weight train 3 times a week and still had cumbersome issues with it. However this problem may be have relieved with the installation of my new Reflex red dot scope by ATN (very small and light weight). Excellent buy and make sure to read the reviews of the plastic options similar to this melting.

I originally had this installed on a Polish Tantal, and it fit perfect..now recently picked up a Sar1 Romanian AK, and with some minor grinding on the gas tube, it fit perfect, and was much lighter than the stock furniture.

Looks good, suggest some sort of shim between the two halves. I used nails after cutting their heads off. Don't want to bend your gas chamber! It really did add some weight, but thats ok not as much recoil that way. yeah I'm a wuss. You'll be amazed by the appearance difference. And the control you have with a vertical grip is unreal.

I was worried about the weight that would be added, the weight difference is not noticeable. Take your time putting it on your weapon and it will seat very tight and secure. Plenty secure for scope mounting. The wider foregrip is much more comfortable than standard AK grips. This is essential for any AK 47, unless you want it to look more traditional. If so check out the gas tube rail made by Ultimac.

No grinding whatsoever, fit perfectly and was really easy to install. I would highly recomend it.

Bought one for my "WASR 10". I did have to do some grinding to get the top half to clear the gas tube. Also, use the enclosed V block to keep the gas tube from binding. I cannot say enough on how much better the gun feels and shoots! And with the Quad Rail, you can put everything on it! It is far, far superior over the stock wood hand guard!

This fit like a glove on my WASR 10. i used 1 of the small shims that came with it and it fits great. hardest thing about the deal was getting my old tapco foregrip off. looks great on my gun too.

I wrote a review on this thing after i bought it and put it on. I wrote it based on its looks. Looks awesome. I finally had a chance to shoot with it on. I put it on and didn't use lock tight like suggested. I put about 200 rounds thru it, and realized it was coming loose. I came home put some lock tight on it, and we shall see. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING THIS!!!!!

Perfect, fit's like a glove on my Romanian AK. Will make a very steady platform for optics or any other attachment you can imagine. Have had no problems with the gas tube and piston operation, and I've tightened the screws way past snug. Beautifully milled aluminum, and comfortable rail covers. I have a Chinese made version of the AK47, the MAK-90. This handguard went on extremely easily in about 25 minutes (just be patient and take your time)and required absolutely no modifications on my part and the instructions were very helpful. It is rock solid, functional and very cool looking, too! This is one of the best mods I've made to my AK, so far!

I really don't have to babble on about how great this rail system is because u can determine that from all the other positive reviews this product has received. But, I will say this rail fits perfectly on my Arsenal SLR-107FR. So, it will fit Arseanl AK's just fine. The only thing I had to do was dremel the hole in the adaptor a little bit bigger, just so I could get my cleaning rod to seat all the way back. But, that took me like 3 min. No problem.

I have to make a correction on my previous review. I wasn't paying attention. This UTG rail (#AKS-101) DOES NOT fit Arsenal Ak's, only romainian. The other UTG rail (#AKS-103) will fit Arsenal Ak's. Sorry for the mistake. I must be drunk.

It took sometime to put it on, but worth it. It looks great. But looks don't matter if it doesn't hold up. Off to shoot, and will see if it stays in place.

Great quality. I have rebuilt many Iraqi Police AK-47's and have place this rail on the one I carry. It is very durable and dissipates heat very well. The only problem is that it will not fit military grade 1913 Picitiny rail items well. With force, plastic rail grabbers will work. The Iraqi Police and Military guys love it. Worth the money.

Installed on my wasr-10... totally change the entire look of the weapon. Not only does it look bad a**, it feels so much better. I highly recommend this for all AK shooters without reservation.

This is one of those rare accessories that is worth the price & worth putting on! Transforms a mediocre AK into a tac driver! I have a cheap foregrip & red dot on mine but it turns my AK into a weapon's grade....weapon! If you have an AK, just get this rail. Oh, and if you can field strip an AK, it is easy to mount on. Just have to be able to remove the gas tube. If I can do it, anyone can.

The instructions for changing out the forearm and installing the new one were great. Easy to read and easy to do. The forearm fits great and looks great. Only negative was that it was to tight and did not line up well enough for me to leave the cleaning rod in. No big deal for me I just left it off. I'm not taking this gun to combat so the need for the cleaning rod really is secondary. Four stars because of the cleaning rod issue. Other than that another great product.

At first I thought this was just an overpriced quad rail system, that was untill my friend bought one and i was able to see one first hand. It is nothing more then High grade block of Aluminum that has been percisioned machined Into what has to be one of the best rail systems I have ever used. And not to worry the rubber rain covers make great hand guards and are comfortable to hold while you shoot. This rail system will not let you down and feels like it has always been there.

I wasn't sure about buying this rail system at first,but i thought well i can always return the item if i didn't like it.When it came in and i pulled it out of the box i was impressed with the quality of it. I got it mounted on my AK-47 in about 10 minutes and you would have to break my arm to make me take it off. AWSOME just AWSOME!! Not only did it fit but it changed the whole look of my weapon. I just got my quad rail in Friday (after two days) and put it on Sunday. It didn't take too long...but seeing as how I've never messed with the handguards of an AK it took about and hour and a half but the lil' light bulb finally turned on and it was easier than expected. Rather easy to install and should take no longer than 15 min and made my WASR 10 look great! All I need now is a reflex sight and a foregrip and I'm good to go! You can't go wrong and it's worth every penny!

Took some time to fit it to my Mac-90 with a little bit of dificulty but all in all a great product and it looks good! I recomend this for anyone wanting to expand the capabilities of there Ak or Ak variant.

This is the first mod I did to my WASR-10. With the stock wooden hand guards, the gun felt awkward and some what uncomfortable to hold, as I don't have small hands. The new quad rail with grips made the gun easier to hold and handle. Shooting the gun felt much more natural and as a added bonus the gun got a much more tactical look with space to add accessories. The only problems I've had with the mount was during installation. It took a little bit of guess and test to find the correct shims to allow the mount to be installed properly. Also, I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but some of the grip pieces that come with rail going on significantly easier than others. Other than that I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a firmer and much more natural shooting position feel for their WASR-10.

For the money this is a very good product it’s a big improvement over the wood hand guards even though I had to deal with a few issues in order to properly fit it to my Romanian AK... Issues while installing: - The upper portion binds on the gas tube which requires you to either grind down the upper inner channel to increase clearance and reduce binding or you can "force" it into place by torque down on the screws...If you decide to force it so the channels mate you need to be very careful not to over tighten the screw which will result in deflection (bending) of the gas tube which causes the gas piston to bind! To reduce this possibility I absolutely recommend you install the little metal split block that comes with the rail it’s installed between the gas tube and the barrel. I just had to add that this system gives the AK a more tactical, ultra-modern look with a foregrip, AR-style buttstock, maybe even a red dot sight, and you're good to go - my hands haven't felt much heat from constant fire at all, and the rubber grips help even more. This is just what the AK originally needed!

This is a really great product. I fitted it to my Romanian under folder AK in about twenty minutes. No problems installing except the rubber rail covers can be a little brittle, two of them broke removing them, but thats no problem since I won't be using them once I install a vertical fore grip and optics. I looked at all the products CTD carried and read the reviews and chose this one. Ordered on Monday and received it early Wednesday morning. Way to go CTD. Buy this and you won't be disappointed.

I bought this last week, showed up a couple of days later- perfect! Well, I installed this baby within minutes, and, I have to say, they should really put these things on AK-47's in the factory. Side mounts, upper and lower mounts, how could you go wrong?

I greatly suggest to anyone with commercial grade AK variant to buy this product. I have a Mak-90 and bought the UTG rail fitted to mount on my Mak-90 carbine, it took about 20 minutes to mount and I'm very satisfied with the outcome. The machining is immaculate on the quad rail Ak system. I would have thought this item would be worth more initially (around 250$), but paid a fraction of the msrp I've would of guessed. A must buy for anyone wanting to upgrade their Ak variant to more modern standard.

This rail system is worth every cent...Very well made, rock solid lockup, good feel, no play no BS just good system...My advice if you wanna spend a few hundred buy a krebs, but trust me your just paying for the name...I own both, and love this one by far a hundred fold better...Also I give props to CTD for the awsome service....orderd on a friday evening, was waiting for me at my door on tuesday evening!!!! Completely transformed the comfort of the AK's at a low cost and a very easy assembly. 1,250 rounds on each rifle so far and NO ZERO SHIFT with the Barska's mounted forward.

Do Not Forget! Do Not OVER TIGHTEN the allen screws when mating the upper and lower portions together. If you over tighten these screws you can cause resistance in the pistons movement and damage your gun. This is easy to avoid so don't be afraid. Just use red loctite on the screws and screw them fairly tight. Make sure to pull back the bolt to test the action making sure it slides freely. If it binds up, loosen the bolts. Simple! I love this rail for the money, the next best thing would be to spend about 2 times as much on a 1 piece rail...

I bough one of these for my AK-47 wasr10,it fit perfect it took all of ten minutes to install. There is a little metal split block that came with mine, i believe it goes between the barrel and gas tube. After putting the weapon back together with NO WOOD foregrip and NO WOOD on gas tube, after installing the rail system, work bolt back and forth. If gas piston catches then split the little block, place it as close as you can to end of gas tube, then use LOCKTITE thread locker(red tube)on screws. Tighten the screws just enough to push up on the gas tube to prevent hang up. If you want a front vertical grip i recommend #17979 ITS TOUGH

This is one solid rail system it went on my WASR-10 pretty easy and screwed down solidly. but is a pain to take off everytime I clean the gun. The spacers on it are also a bit of a problem because I cant seem to get my cleaning rod through the hole in them I will have to try to readjust them or drill a bigger hole but other then that this is a must have for anyone with an AK-47 but it adds some weight so I bought a bipod and a foregrip for it and believe me it has enought rail to hold them both at the same time great. Tried both the 478 and 479 models. The gas tube on my wasr 10 was too at the dimples. Luckily my benchtop grinder wheel was the exact width I needed. Once I ground out the narrower section of the section that covers the gas tube, everything worked great.

This is an awesome rail system! I ordered it for my WASR-10 and it was here in less than 7 days, even with the cheap shipping. It took about 20 minutes to install, including removing the old wood forearm. It fit REALLY tight, so tight to where I had to use a rubber mallet to get the top (gas tube cover) on. After some fine tuning and adjustments, the finished product looks and feels great! Just don't tighten the screws down too tight or it will bind up the gas piston inside of the tube and the gun will not cycle properly. Other than that, this is a great item to invest in if your wanting to trick out your AK. Thanks CTD!!!!!!!

Excellent rail system! For the price you get a quality well machined product. The only problem I had was with my Norinco Mak-90, the barrel was slightly larger than the rail would wrap around, but was an easy fix with my dermal tool. I recommend this to anyone.

Well first things first, a great buy and i must say that I'm impressed with the shipping. Had it ordered,shipped, and received with in a week, way to go cheaper than dirt. Anyways i also ordered a T6 tappco collapsible stock and a pistol grip along with the quad rail ( i basically have a whole new rifle ) . The only down fall i had was that my cleaning rod wont stay in place even after i put the spacers in, but thats an easy fix . A great accessory for anybody wanting to beef up their AK47

This rail system looks wicked. I bought this the front grip (ARR-073), a new pistol grip(AKS-033), a side mount scope rail (AKS-006),a red dot scope (SCP-009), and a tapco stock (AKS-026). It all fit great on my WASR-10. It work as good as it looks. Sturdy construction, but does add a bit of weight to the business end. Wouldn't recommend buying this without a front grip for it. but all and all its much better than the OE wood that was on it.

This product is fantastic and very comparable to the much more expensive rail systems. In addition, I was able to use the MT-479 model and adapt it to a Saiga 308. Both rifles look FANTASTIC!!!

This is without a doubt my best investment for my AK. It fit like a dream. Once you put on a swat flashlight, red dot tube, and a foregrip it definitly makes it front heavy. I've been thinking about replacing the fiberglass collapsible stock with that metal folding stock to try and even up the weight. No regrets though.

Got mine today and everything fits well. Went on in about 15 minutes. I got the handle too, so now I can't use my 40rd mags, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. It looks really awesome!

Just received my fore end today, it only took minutes to install on my Romanian AK. Very solid and fits perfectly! The rail covers are a very nice touch, I'd highly recommend this product, it does the job of much higher priced fore ends!

Rail fit snug on my WASR-10. Great improvement over the previous TDI furniture. When combined with an ACE arms folder it really turns head at the range. No gunsmithing was required to slip it on, either. Great buy.

I bought one of these and a scope mount and pistol grip with compartment on the bottom and a 6 position buttstock for my wasr-10 and everything went together perfect! I have a forgrip bipod on the front and a lazer/ light m6x on the side and the grip holds 5 extra batterys. only wish I could have carried this in Iraq instead of my m-16 A4!

At first it didn't look like it was going to fit, but after some time it all came together nicely. It's worth every cent. Love it. If you have a grenade launcher front site, you will have to clip it down shorter.

This is an awesome accessory however as another reviewer said it is slightly canted to one side but it functions the way i need it to. I would definately recommend this to anyone!

Ordered this item for my new AK (Romanian-style US made receiver). Fit tight and right the first time. I only had to take out the cleaning rod to get it to clamp down, then replace after installation. The price was great, as the were being sold at a local gunshow for $100.00.

this is an amazing product. it fit perfectly on my romanian AK, and it looks even better than the picture displayes. it is of very high quality and fits very snug with no modification just slide on the shim that comes with it. just like what was said in the past reviews, use locktight and dont overtighten the screws or it will put to much pressure on the gas tube. and CTD had it at my door step in 3 days.

this thing rocks, had to do some minor mods on my romanian wasr-10. when i installed it, it was to tight on the gas chamber and the bolt was having some problems sliding. other than that thing looks and works great.

awesome product, looks great, put 2 of the included shims in behind it when installing and this thing DOES NOT move, only complaint is cannot remove gas tube with these handguards/rails installed

Excellent product! Takes 15 min. to install. Solid feel, great look, and can’t beat the price. One review mentions the rails being slightly angled… The thing is, before you tighten the screws, the rail system does shift a little. So, just make sure you get it as straight as possible, and if necessary make slight adjustment at the shooting range. You have to make minor adjustments with every firearm accessory, and this one is no exception. All in all, if you have an AK and don’t have this rail installed, you’re missing out!

This is an awesome part for the WASR-10. I tried another cheaper plastic version and it just sucked. You pay for what u get if you go cheap so keep that in mind. Not only did this system fit like a glove, it looks way better than any other. It dosent look like a part of a plastic toy like some of the others. If you have a WASR-10 and want a outstanding handgaurd get this one. P.S. Might as well get the vertical grip pictured, it gives you greater handleling abilities, you can move it foward and back according to your arm length with this system plus it just looks bad a**. Your wife will one day understand. lol

These are great. If you are having trouble getting the wood grips off just break them off unless you plan on reusing them. Most Romeys have cheap particle board grips anyway and they should crack pretty easy. However I would spend the time to figure out why they didnt want to come off after I busted them off for future purposes. Also just a warning cheapo plastic forgrips can heat up and warp on this hand rail under exstended fire. Go with either quality poly grips or alum. grips.

Works great on a Romanian AK, Holds all the stuff you need and looks sweet to boot. it makes the cleaning rod alittle hard to get in and out though.

Not only does this fit my WASR-10 perfectly, look sweet as hell, and let me maximize my killing potential, but my arms are huge after lugging it around with me everywhere. Who buys a 7.62 for it's light weight? If you want easy-to-carry plastic, buy a .223.

If you're looking to tactical-ize your AK, this really is the best way. It took perhaps ten minutes to install, with VERY minor fitting, and in the process I learned more about how my AK takes down. It fits like it was made for my WASR-10, and there is no play or wobbling in its mounting. Rubber pads are comfortable and help insulate against the heat generated by rapid fire, and the machined aluminum holds up well with several accessories attached. Would happily buy again, and I'll add it to any other AK I acquire.

I recently purchased this rail system for my wasr 10 rifle. i was able to remove the upper wooden handguard but i am having a problem removing the lower handguard. i've rotated the small piviting leaver up as the instructions say. i cannot remove the lower guard no matter how much force i use. i read somewhere to twist it like you would the throttle on a motorcycle but that doesn't seem to work either. can someone help me?

this was a breeze to install. if fits and looks great. only problem is you cant use the iron sights with the upper rail covers on it. all in all im very pleasedwith it.

This is the best quality rail system I have ever seen and am sorely disappointed that it will not fit my yugo .....one other review gives instructions on how to make it fit the yugo........don't listen to him. it could be done but only by bypassing the what looks like perfect factory fit on the gun it is intended for, it will end up an inch too short front to back and the curvature of the lower to fit the barrel will be way off. Just buy one that fits the yugo.

I bought this for a Norinco RPK and needed to do alot of dremel work to the inside before it would fit. They say you do not need to use any tools or gunsmithing, they lie!!!!!

It took some time to attach the lower guard for My Mak-90. had to use a rubber mallet to get it on. and it took some time to line up the upper guard bolts. But I did not have to any major modifacations. that was posted in a previous review. it fits tight and looks great. so if you have a Mak-90 it is a must have. Know I need a matching stock. that is in compliance. Thanks for your super service CheaperThanDirt. will do business again.

it looks great but did take a little fitting and worth every penny.with the caa front grip that holds a flashlight and a collapsible stock it fits better and feels surprisingly lighter.good shooting!!

Bought a handgaurd for a MAK 90 (Norinco). The handgaurd required extensive fitting/lapping the points of contact on the barrel and crosspiece to fit correctly. The handgaurd fits well now and looks great. I was however not expecting to put so much work into it. I am a police armorer for several weapons and an apprentice gunsmith. In order to get a proper fit, I needed those skills and would not recomend going at it with little experience and a dremel tool. Good part for the price, but requires some knoweldge to attain a proper fit.

bought this Quad rail for my M70AB2 and it almost fit. It went on alright but it left a gap about an inch big between the rails and the Mag. all in all im still happy with it.

got this and installed it on my wasr-10. fit very well and looks way better in person than in the ad. top quality and very functional. i've always liked my rifle but now i love it.

I purchased this rail system for my WASR-10 and it fits like someone made it custom for me. It comes with shims and I did add one to the front of the unit and it was a perfect fit as well as a perfect look. I did have an experience removing the gas tube from the wooden upper, pinched my hand while twisting it out. Yikes! The new system looks and works perfectly and is well worth the price. I have and ArmaLite AR-10 and the rail system for that is $180.00, so this was a no brainer for my AK.

put this on a romanian wasr 10 with folding stock, fits perfect!! this rail system makes the gun look 100% better! makes the front grip thick and very comfortable. I added this on a UNDER FOLDING STOCK, and it fit perfect! with the thick rubber inserts the stock does not lock closed, but cloesed all the way, and saves me the time of unmounting from shooting pose to push the stock button. PERFECT! it could not be made better! I also added the short forward veritcle grip (17979.. short 4 inch) and it fit and allows stock to close all the way! Gun looks awesome, shoots even better!

It is. Looks are way better, functionality is extremely better, price is excellent for the value. Looks awesome, did I say that already. Don't tighten the top to much though or else it will interfere with the functioning of the gas tube. Even still, it's solid, its NICE.

Very nice system, plan on doing some mod.work depending on your use. In my case I am installing it on an 84-s Norinco 223. Had to do some dremel work to get over the barrel, and am needing some longer screws to join the two halfs (anybody out there know the size/threads of the four screws that hold the halfs together?). All and all it is a good looking system and built well.

In case you're planning to put this rail system on your Yugoslav AK, be advised: The dimensions of this series of AK are not the same as a standard Russian, Romanian or Bulgarian AK. This item will probably not be a drop-in fit on a Yugoslav AKM. Having said that, I give the rail system a four out of five rating. I had to do some minor milling on a small milling machine to make it fit, but once I got that done, it was a winner...and for the price it can't be beat. You may also have to make some spacers to fit between the upper hand guard and lower handguard, but that is simply a matter of sawing some .125 x .25 aluminum bar stock to length, drilling two holes for the retaining screws to fit through and blackening it. On some rifles you might have to contour the spacers, but on most this probably won't be necessary...that could easily be done with a Dremel tool or even a hand file, if it proves to be necessary.If you have an "under folder", you might have to mill or file a little off the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock rails where they straddle the forward trunion. The rail system fits tight and is plenty strong for the load it will carry. It is comfortable to hold. It is much more comfortable for big hands than the original plastic handguard. It certainly adds possibilities and options to an AK type rifle. I highly recommend the rail system/handguard if you have the patience to fit it to the rifle.

I put one of these on my Egyptian Maadi. It fits nice and tight, but took quite a bit of fitting to make it work. Nothing someone with some patience and a dremel can't handle, just go nice and slow with removing the excess metal, or it won't fit tight, which is what you want.

See my comment on the AR quadrail for a good review. And don't think too much of this review. The rail is nice and solid and makes my AK look absolutely beautiful. But the rail is slightly angled to one side making anything I put on it (as far as sights) slightly off.

This is a great item !! It does take a little modification to fit the reciever though. I had to sand a notch in the bottom piece for it to fit. Once I got it to fit I think its the best rail system you can by for the price!! All its takes is about 15 min with a Dremel and it fits very well!! It was worth it !!

Very good system. It took a little elbow grease to get it fitted to my Maadi's but once on, performance was top's. Reccommend people to buy an extra one as a spare in the event the democrates pass their new gun bill.

Took a bit of matching and elbow grease but fit tight and can add optics. Recommend thread lock for screws rather than over-tighten. Good product for Romanian, but use the spacers.

If you were wanting a rail set up for your AK get this. It is worth the price. It slipped right onto my GP WASR 10 and looks even better in real life than the picture. It is a solid metal rail system and locks down nice and tight. Plus you can use the extra rubber rail covers for any other guns you have that might need them.

Very well made, fit my WSAR-10 perfectly. Comes with UTG rail cover which is a nice little bonus! Works very well with vertical grips. Very satisfied with this purchase.

This is a great system. It fit my Romanian stamped receiver AK nicely.

This handguard looks to be very well made and has nice features. The milled aluminum is nicely finished and the rubber rail protectors fit snugly. Unfortunately, it will not fit a Poly Tech AKS-762 with stamped receiver. The diameter of both the barrel and gas tube is too big.

This is a very fine product for the money and the quality. Just be sure not to tighten the screws up too much, because it will not let the gas piston through as easy and use thread lock. Also, make sure that the Reciever Front Cap Spacers are in the box. As usual this is another fine product from CHEAPER THAN DIRT. Thank you for a great source for all my weapon needs. M. D. Linde

This will not fit on an Milled recv. Esp. Arsenal/ Bulgarian. Barrel is too thick, gas tube is too thick. Made for Stamped AK's. Pretty good overall quality, just not in how it goes on the rifle, too much pressure on barrel and gas system.
