right out of the box accurate. i recently got one brand new. went to range and used remington slugger slugs. 2 and 3/4" size. shot at 50 and 75 yards with the open iron sights. the 5 shots at 50 were and 1 and 1/4 " high. at a nice 3 inch group. the shots at 75 were dead on. a 3.5" group. went to range with 30 slugs thinking i was going to be beating my shoulder up sighting in. but i only needed 10. its gonna be a good hunt this year. as long as i see them.
