I have a Taurus 650SS small framed .357. The factory grip is comfortable, but doesn't extend far enough for your pinkie finger to grab, thus causing your pinkie to curl underneath the grip. The factory grip exposes the bottom part of the frame (the butt) -- which is why it's short. This Hogue Rubber Monogrip extends past the gun's butt and allows your pinkie to grab, while still keeping the gun concealable. It's a tad bit longer than the original, but a tad bit thinner as well -- the back part of the frame is exposed with this grip, while the original grip fully wraps around. The Hogue Rubber Monogrip is more comfortable than the factory original. It's soft, but not soft enough that it tears/cuts easily. A great buy!
